A Taste of Alicante - Highly Recommended! - We had a great time at the paella cooking class in Alicante! Fede, our guide, led us through a lively market tour to pick up the fresh ingredients we needed for the dishes. We made a tomato and fish salad and sangria to begin with, followed by paella! Fede and Chef Montserrat's guidance made the experience both fun and informative and all the food we made was delicious! We would definitely recommend this class if you're in Alicante! It's also a great way to hear some history of the city. Highly recommended!

Disappointed - I booked this workshop twice. The first time they cancelled as they didn't have a minimum number attending (understandable) so I rescheduled it to the next date. The second time, despite waiting for 20 minutes at the nominated meeting place, no-one turned up. When I contacted the company, I received a reply nearly 2 hours later stating the workshop was currently underwater and that they waited for me. Either they weren't at the correct meeting place, I checked that I was standing at the right place twice, or they were there and just didn't notice me and went ahead anyway, I'm not sure. At no stage did they try and contact me or have any signage/clothing to make themselves easily identifiable, which would have been much easier considering that the meeting point is in quite a busy area. But in saying all of that, they did agree to refund me the cost of the workshop when I was unable to attend another date.
