Cycling tour highly recommended - Interesting bike tour through the old town, as well as the harbor and beach promenade with the excellent tour guide Fernando. He told us a lot about Alicante and gave us some good tips for the next few days. Ebikes are very well maintained, so we rented the bikes for the next 3 days.

Gentle Bike Tour of Alicante with Nice Mix of History Culture and Geography Hit the Spot - We got the private bike tour of Alicante city and beach and had a great trip. There is a nice mi or bike, culture and walking. Very gentle pace and really suited us on the last day of our holiday as we were not in form for anything too strenuous. Canadians see Alicante (City & Beach) by Bike - This was a wonderful, fun outing. Two and a half hours of history and great scenery of Alicante (a hidden gem). The published description of the tour is completely accurate. Loved learning about the old and new Alicante. Tour was led by Fernando, a humorous and experienced tour guide (whose English was excellent). The three of us were from Ontario, Canada, and all in our mid-70s in age! Two used regular bikes, and one an e-bike (which made the few hillier spots quite manageable). We learned a great deal, and it was entirely entertaining (thank you Fernando) and educational. Highly recommend this tour.

You should book this tour as soon as you arrive in Alicante. It will give you a great start and help you visit and plan the rest of your trip.
