Family friendly, perfect blend of food and history - Jenn was great. Her background in history and archeology came thru in her sharing the history of the area, buildings and restaurant stops. Food variety was great! My 13 year old loved it and asked for a similar experience on our next vacation.

Less History and More Food Please!!! - This tour ranks last on the food tours I’ve taken over the years including a food tour in Alexandria I did 6 years ago. There wasn’t enough food stops and far too many walking stops (in 90 degree heat) about the history of Alexandria. From the first stop at Dolce there was a little over an hour of stopping and talking about the history of Alexandria as opposed to taking our group to the next food stop and discussing the history of what food we were eating and the building we were eating in. Only 4 food stops on a food tour is not a true food tour. I’ve been on countless food tours that had a minimum of 5-6 stops for food tastings. This was definitely more of a history tour with occasional bites to eat. So if you’re into that, that’s fine, but I would not be taking this tour again nor recommending to my friends or family.
