Highlights
- Albuquerque Old Town - Welcome to historic Old Town Albuquerque! Looking at how gigantic the city of Albuquerque is, it’s hard to believe that it all started here, in just a 10 block radius full of adobe buildings. But every city has to start somewhere, and this neighborhood is chock full of history, and ghosts!
- 2111 Church St NW - This beautiful building is the oldest in Albuquerque, and among the oldest buildings in all of New Mexico. And for over 200 years, it was occupied by the same family!
- San Felipe de Neri Church - This church has been a staple among houses of worship in Albuquerque since 1706. The very first name of the church was st. Francis Xavier, but early on it was changed to St. Phillip Neri, or “felipe” in Spanish
- Covered Wagon - The Covered Wagon was built in 1880 by Manual Springer, who opened a saloon called the Mint. The Mint, meanwhile, and several other saloons like it, operated freely in Old Town for decades.
- Mansion owned by Johnny Depp - Although this house was built during the early 1900s, the history of this property, and its ghosts, goes back way longer than that.
- Bottger Mansion of Old Town - The Bottger Mansion is the only lodging available in Old Town. Although the house was built during the early 1900s, the history of this property and its ghosts, goes back much longer than that. On this site during the 1700s, a 40-room adobe house sat on this spot.
- Chapel of Our Lady of Guadalupe - Many Albuquerque locals don’t even know the chapel is here as it is hidden in a beautiful plaza. This addition is much newer than the other much older places to worship.

Ghost stories in old town - We really enjoyed this ghost tour. Our guide was very informative and we learned the history of our Old Town area.

Perfect for spooky season! - I had no idea how spooky the history of Albuquerque was! WOW!! I'm looking forward to the next time I'm in town so that I can go back to a couple spots from the tour.

Dark History in ABQ - Loved learning the dark history of my favorite Southwest City. Took it while passing through to California and could not recommend it more. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny. I had no idea Civil War history was a part of the area and that there are ghosts here because of it!

Definitely recommend! - This was such a fun experience that we decided to add to our Halloween season!! We rented the EMF detector and it made the stories so interactive. Definitely recommend.

Guide didn't show up - Our Tour Guide did not show up. It was freezing as we stood and waited for 30 minutes. I only learned later that this company is not even local - they are brand new and from out of state. Now I am fighting to get my money back.
