Caita was an excellent... - Caita was an excellent tour guide and made the experience very enjoyable. The time at the castle and winery were perfect. Highly recommend!

Peaceful trip out to the Algarve Countryside - We were greeted by Cátia outside the Hotel entrance, she was very polite and welcoming. The minibus had air conditioning controls in the back so you could travel in comfort. Fortunately for us, the other 2 participants who were meant to be on the trip, got their days mixed up, so the 3 of us had the trip to ourselves. It was about a 20-30 drive out to Silves, where we got to pass through the typical Algarve villages and towns along the way. As you drop in to Silves, keep your eyes peeled for all the Storks nested around. Plenty to see! We stopped at the Castle in Silves for around 30 mins, where we enjoyed some refreshments at the cafe. Try the freshly squeezed orange juice, very sweet! From there it was further drive out into the countryside, where you pass the biggest plantation of orange trees in the Algarve, we learnt about the Cork trees in the area, Almond and Avocado. Then we arrived at the winery and we're shown around and learnt about the process of making wine, this lasted about 20 minutes. Now the best bit, the wine tasting. We took our seats out under the veranda with the fantastic views, the sun just starting to set over the mountains. A selection of cheese, meats and crackers are brought out to you along with trio of wines. We had a lot of fun, tried the extra wines they had to offer and finished the afternoon off by watch the sunset on the terrace. A very chilled and relaxing afternoon out. Thank you to the staff at the winery and to Cátia for being a wonderful tour guide.

Bday Wine Trip - João and Cátia took such good care of my group who came to celebrate my birthday. Picking us up from hotel was such a nice touch. The entire staff even surprised us w a birthday toast and treat. I had such a great time and so did my entire group. Recommend this tour.

Great afternoon wine tour - We had a wonderful afternoon yesterday on the Wine Tasting Tour. We had the most fabulous group of people…some new friends made. Caitia our driver/guide was amazing. She was great fun, full of local knowledge and made our afternoon perfect. The wines were delicious and the Winery was magical. Would highly recommend this tour.

Excellent - We had a delightful time. The staff was generous, informative and fun to be with. The tapas were yummy, and the wine was really good. I recommend you spend a couple of hours in Silves!

An excellent vintage of tour - Great scenery with lots of interesting points on route to the winery. You’ll be whisked through the countryside, giving the chance to appreciate the valleys away from the coast. Including a stop at the historical town of Silves. The winery is situated in a serene location, where you’ll have ample opportunity to sample the produce, see the production process and vineyards. Doorstop collection/drop off helps makes this a super relaxed tour to take too

Nice excursion - Great guide. Catia gave us lots of local information along the way. We stopped and she showed us the famous cork trees. Wine tasting was good.

Absolutely brilliant, very relaxing and well worth every penny. - Absolutely brilliant tour. Our guide Cátia was very knowledgeable and pointed out lots of different places and facts on our drive there. Lovely stop in a beautiful little town and tried the amazing fresh orange juice. Wines were delicious and we even added some extra tastings too. Whole experience was so chilled and relaxed and was a perfect afternoon.
