Highlights

Albufeira - Meeting point and departure for the tour.
From Albufeira we will leave for the tour, we will find the traditional Algarvian houses. On the way we will see irrigation systems used by the former farmers of the Algarve and many of them still from Roman times.
Paderne Castle - Visit the castle from medieval times, the castle of Paderne is one of the castles of the Portuguese national flag. Castle from the Moorish period, when the Arabs still ruled the Algarve. In this place we will enjoy the beauty around. (Interior of the castle it is only possible to visit when the municipality opens to the public)
Moinho do Leitão - Visit to Moinho do Leitão, one of the few in the Algarve. (visit inside on morning or weekend tours)
Paderne - View the village of Paderne, traditional Algarve village. In the village of Paderne we will also make a brief visit to the local commerce, we can see its Church and regional architecture.
Fonte Grande - Stop at the Alte fountains where we can enjoy the wonderful space and dive into the crystal clear waters. Old place with water sources. (Place to dive in water when there is water)
Alte - Visit the village of Alte where we can visit a traditional Algarvian village and its regional beauty. Local with local commerce, where we can see the Algarvian regional products.
Pico Alto - Visit to the mountains of the Algarve interior, where we can enjoy the view of the Algarve mountains. Passing through large fruit plantations.

We commence our adventure by picking you up from your accommodation in Albufeira, setting off on a safari journey through the natural beauty and hilly terrain of Algarve. The tour comprises offbeat tracks, breathtaking vistas, region-specific architectural brilliance, medieval structures, quaint villages, and natural springs inviting you to take a refreshing dip. The trip also incorporates visits to local artisans displaying regional yields like liqueurs, honey and preserves.Off-road exploration reveals vast fruit farms with tiny brooks and Roman-era water irrigation systems. Our guides will impart knowledge of our culture and surroundings, and once the tour wraps up, you can unwind back at your hotel.

A Day in the life of Portugal - Victor our tour guide was stellar. He was 10 minutes early picking us up from the hotel we were staying at in Albuferia and it actually was just my husband and I on this tour, which of course gave it more private feel. We went to all the tour highlights and we ended with feeding a very sweet donkey. Highly recommend this tour to learn more of the Albuferia and surrounding areas.

Incredible Tour - This was an excellent tour, it was a great way to experience Albufeira and it's story. Our guides were brilliant and we highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to have a fun ride and also learn about the rich history of the area.

Wildflowers,orange groves and quaint towns - I loved the meadows,with all the beautiful wild flowers growing everywhere.We stopped in a little village for coffee and the roads were twisted and curving and you never knew what you were going to see next.Lots of fun

Fantastic morning with Roy - We had a fantastic time with Roy on the Jeep tour. He was friendly and fun and took us to some great out of the way places. We stopped in a little village for fruit and pastries… delish! Thoroughly enjoyed by everyone including my 81 year old mum… who Roy took very good care of. :)

Amazing - An amazing tour! Our driver and tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and fun. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting. Such great value as well. A fraction of what other companies are charging for the same experience. With only 4 to a jeep it was pretty much a private tour!

Recommended for those wanting a bit more than just beach and bars - Fantastic 1/2 day exploring the region, couldn’t recommend it enough. Sergio was a knowledgable and fun guide and the route never got boring. Our highlights were the hidden waterfall and the incredible views from the giant swing near the wind turbines. I can see why a Jeep ride might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I loved it. Thanks for a great morning!
