Albufeira - Meeting point and departure for the tour.
From Albufeira we will leave for the tour, we will find the traditional Algarvian houses. On the way we will see irrigation systems used by the former farmers of the Algarve and many of them still from Roman times. - Paderne Castle - Visit the castle from medieval times, the castle of Paderne is one of the castles of the Portuguese national flag. Castle from the Moorish period, when the Arabs still ruled the Algarve. In this place we will enjoy the beauty around. (Interior of the castle it is only possible to visit when the municipality opens to the public)
- Moinho do Leitão - Visit to Moinho do Leitão, one of the few in the Algarve. (visit inside on morning or weekend tours)
- Paderne - View the village of Paderne, traditional Algarve village. In the village of Paderne we will also make a brief visit to the local commerce, we can see its Church and regional architecture.
- Fonte Grande - Stop at the Alte fountains where we can enjoy the wonderful space and dive into the crystal clear waters. Old place with water sources. (Place to dive in water when there is water)
- Alte - Visit the village of Alte where we can visit a traditional Algarvian village and its regional beauty. Local with local commerce, where we can see the Algarvian regional products.
- Pico Alto - Visit to the mountains of the Algarve interior, where we can enjoy the view of the Algarve mountains. Passing through large fruit plantations.

We commence our adventure by picking you up from your accommodation in Albufeira, setting off on a safari journey through the natural beauty and hilly terrain of Algarve. Embark on a thrilling expedition in an open-top jeep (equipped with a roof in case it rains). The tour comprises offbeat tracks, breathtaking vistas, region-specific architectural brilliance, medieval structures, quaint villages, and natural springs inviting you to take a refreshing dip. The trip also incorporates visits to local artisans displaying regional yields like liqueurs, honey and preserves.Off-road exploration reveals vast fruit farms with tiny brooks and Roman-era water irrigation systems. A great day out - This was hands-down the best experience of our holiday and for an amazing price. Sergio was a great driver/guide who explained the countryside as we drove through it between interesting destinations. He stopped once or twice to pick us fruit fresh from the trees and gave us recommendations for local restaurants to try. A really personable experience, we’d highly recommend it!

Fun times - Victor was a great guide although maybe guides should wear a microphone so everyone can hear. He had some great things to say but it was sometimes hard to hear.
Interesting and authentic landmarks. Waterfalls was a highlight.

A brilliant way to see the different side of Albufeira - What a fantastic day. Even before the event started the operator offered to pick us up from our hotel. Fred our tour guide was excellent. Very knowledgable and fun and went out of his way to ensure you were having a great time. The tour its self was fantastic taking in beautiful scenery whilst learning lots of local history and nature. I would highly recommend this experience.

Amazing and unique experience! - It was an awesome experience! Our guide Fred was very entertaining and funny. He told us a lot about the history of Portugal and the Algarve and all different kinds of fruit. The tour was not only very interesting but also a great and unique experience! I would really recommend it! Especially if you want to explore the country also outside of the touristic areas.

A great tour - highly recommend - We absolutely loved this tour! Roy our tour guide was so enthusiastic, very informative and also very funny too. He brought us around and gave us a lot of information about each place we visited. You could tell he really loves what he does. My son who's 9 loved it too and wasnt bored one bit! A great way to learn more about Portugal and to see places that you wouldn't necessarily see on a trip away. I would highly recommend this tour! Thanks Roy for being the best tour guide!
