For anyone interested in seeing the countryside of Algarve. - A great tour. Learned so much about the Algarve Region and the past and present history of this area. Hugo is a great guide and truly loves showing off his part of Portugal.

Don’t miss this if you really want to experience a great day in the Algarve! - We had wonderful day on the jeep safari with Gil as our guide. He showed us so many things about the plants, trees and the landscape of the Algarve on the way to picturesque village of Alte. We stopped at a cafe for delicious pastries and coffee. We drove to the top a small mountain and took pictures of the stunning vista, went inside a castle that was partially destroyed and being restored. We had a delicious meal at La Cataplana. Table service with tablecloths, stunning views, served family style with generous portions and pitchers of sangria. Gil was entertaining, informative and fun the whole day and we thoroughly enjoyed his consideration for us all! Highly recommend this tour.

A great day out - This was a great way to spend the day. Our guide Tom was really informative, entertaining, and interesting. He also helped us with translation in the cafés etc. It's great to get away from the tourist areas and into the countryside. The distillery visit was really interesting with a lot of samples to try of local liqueur as well as honey and jams. The restaurant lunch was really good and Tom phoned ahead to let them know I needed a vegetarian meal. There was sangria included in the lunch. The last stop was in a small village called Arte. I definitely recommend one of these jeep safaris when visiting Albufeira.

A great day out - We had a great day out on this jeep safari. Tom was a great guide, explaining all about the areas we passed through. He was really informative about the plants and herbs growing wild, and about the cork farms we passed. The distillery visit and tasting was great and we also had a very nice lunch at a restaurant near the village of Arte which was the last stop of the day. One of these jeep safari tours is a must if visiting Albufeira as it gets you away from the tourist areas and into the countryside.

Excellent experience, would recommend. - Thomas picked us up at hotel and immediately made us feel at home along with the other 4 travellers. We rattled over some back roads and tracks and visited out of the way places. Lunch at Alte Hotel included was superb. Great day out. Highly recommended.

Good safari - The guide was a good storyteller. I expected somewhat more activity like hiking during the trip. The coffeebreak was delicious.
