- Faro - Faro, the administrative capital of the Algarve, is rich in natural and cultural heritage and invites you to discover it.
The pre-Roman city called Ossónoba was one of the most important urban centers in the south of the Iberian Peninsula.
Today, due to its location, as well as being the capital, Faro has the most important infrastructure and public services in the Algarve region.
The local gastronomy, based on shellfish from the Ria Formosa, is unique and one of the best in the country.
Faro’s charming historic center is surrounded by ancient city walls and contains a Gothic cathedral. Outside the city walls is a modern center with pedestrian shopping streets, scenic squares and a variety of restaurants and bars.
South of Faro is the Ria Formosa Natural Park, a series of saltwater lagoons and mudflats that are a haven for migratory birds and wildlife. Along the sea side of the Ria Formosa are three sandbar islands, location of Faro’s pristine beaches.

Algarves Gem - This was our second tour with Gabriel and we loved it! His passion was a pleasure to be around and his depth of expertise, first class. If you want to experience genuine Portegese culture, tailored to your likes, he's your guy. Book early.

Best of the Algarve - This tour is 5+++ Stars!! We couldn't have asked for a better day as we sampled the Algarve on our full day tour with Gabriel! Gabriel has excellent transportation with powerful AC and he is safe, gracious, kind, knowledgeable, and his humor adds an extra fun element to the day! We loved getting to know Gabriel and the Algarve he loves so much. Our views were from the countryside, the beach/marinas, and the cities which gave everyone in the family something special. Our lunch was delicious with authentic seafood, so delicious in fact that my teenager RAVED that the tuna was the BEST he's ever had! Gabriel can create a special day for anyone based on their wishes. We are truly grateful for this experience and highly recommend Gabriel's services. Obrigado!!!

Wonderful Experience from a Local Expert - Gabrielle came to us as a recommendation from a family friend and we are so appreciative to have had the experience and time with him, He is truly an expert about the stunning Algarve region and is happy to customize your experience. We visited some incredible architecture in Faro and Tavira after Gabrielle picked us up in Albufiera. He recommended an amazing restaurant for lunch, that had the most mouthwatering octupus we’ve ever tried! He even added a visit to a gorgeous beach when he learned how much we love the sea. It was an amazingly memorable day that was enhanced by all the insights her shared about his country and region as someone who’s lived there his whole life. You will not be sorry if you book a tour with Gabrielle.

Book Gabriel! - My friends and I had a wonderful tour experience with Gabriel! He was on time, kept us on schedule but didn't rush the pace of our exploration, made us feel safe and made sure one of our friends who left early still got a full experience before heading to the airport in Faro. Gabriel is from Faro and his passion and knowledge for the area shines through. He curated a day for us that felt specific to what we were interested in and wanted to see. He lets you rest if you want to rest, is easy to engage in meaningful conversation if you want to chat. His knowledge of the area also extends to his relationships with restaurant and shop owners. He took us to a wonderful locally owned restaurant in Faro called Old Tavern. We had a delicious meal and lots of laughs. The end of our day culminated in pasties de nata at Riviera. Gabriel loves Albufeira and it shows. I highly recommend him for your tour of the region!

My girls trip to Portugal 2021 - Best tour ever. Gabriel was amazing and ill definitely be back soon. I had no idea what to expect in portugal since it was first time but it was fantastic! The views, the music, the food, the weather.. All extraordinary!

A fantastic day, touring Faro and Tavira! - My husband and I did the private day tour of Faro and Tavira, its a breathtaking tour. Gabriel our tour guide was very knowledgeable and attentive to our every need, as well as recommending excellent place to eat for lunch in Tavira.
I would highly recommend this tour and a big thank you to an awesome tour guide (Gabriel)! Hope to see you soon!

Great tour !! - We contacted Gabriel for the second time ( first time was in August 2018). We wanted him to be our guide again !! We really enjoyed our Tour in Tavira and Faro!
He is great , cheerful, takes you to lovely spots. We had a wonderful lunch in a little restaurant in Faro. Probably would have never been there without him! I recommend Gabriel and will contact him again if we ever come back . !!

Special service from a friend - My wife and I spent a day with Gabriel to visit Faro and Tavira from Albufeira.
We had never met Gabriel before, yet he made us feel like a friend. A great trait for a private tour guide.
Gabriel showed us around the shopping malls in Faro where we saw the famed tiled patterns of the walkways. We also visited the old town where Gabriel took a few photos for us instead of us trying the selfie.
We were also treated to a lovely coffee on the roof top restaurant of the Hotel Faro.
Gabriel also hooked us up with lunch on our way to Tavira. He called ahead and booked a table at A Casa Santa Luzia. Luckily because people were queuing to get a table. And no wonder, the octopus lagareiro was always excellent. Well recommended by Gabriel.
After lunch we walked the old town of Tavira plus some local areas. It was nice to just stroll through the streets.
On our way back to Albufeira, Gabriel took a detour to show us a cliff top view of the beaches east of Albufeira.
All up the tour was great with service from a friend.

Fantastic day out - We booked a private tour for a group of 5 people including my elderly parents (87 and 81 years). When Gabriel picked us up from our accommodation he recognised elderly couple would struggle with walking and therefore adapted our tour to minimise walking and more sightseeing. That was perfect, could have not asked for more.
We had a fantastic day out and highly recommend Gabriel. We also visited some beautiful places known to the locals.
