Absolutely incredible - I've just arrived back from the Sunset Tour to celebrate my daughters birthday and it was incredible! Alison, our guide was lovely and knowledgeable. We got picked up from our hotel and made several short stops on the way up to the mountains. We stopped at a local produce farm and tried their homemade firewater and jams. Then watched the sunset from the giant swing which was breathtaking. We saw other tours on the way and none looked as good as Algarve Moments. If I was ever to come back to Portugal, I would definitely do it again.

Eddie you are the best - I loved this tour, I left with knowledge about history of Algarve, I’ve seen the way people use the soil to grow their own food and Eddie was an amazing guide with such a good vibe. Thank you for the experience!

Amazing...book it, you wont be disappointed! - Brilliant tour! I went on with my son (15yrs) and he also loved it and we will definitely do it again if we are ever back in Albufeira. We had Eddie who was excellent and very knowledgeable, and more than happy to answer my million and one questions. Stop off for cakes (delicious!) and drinks at a local Portuguese pub was great. The views and sunset are beyond stunning, The whole journey from start to finish was one of the best trips we have done. Added bonus, I've noticed going on this trip has helped me with some of my ADHA challenges. Memory and pics instantly help bring me back to a place of serenity and calm....I need to go live on this mountain :-) Tip: It is an open top jeep, so a hair band is a must if you have long hair. We were also grateful we took hoodies with us as it did get chilly at the top of the mountain.

Phenomenal tour. Great value for money - It was phenomenal. Very informative trip, learning about the different varieties of food growing by the roadside. A tour around the stunning areas in Portugal, learning the history as we go. We were told at the start of the tour that we would visit a waterfall, I'm not sure why we didn't. The view at our final destination where we were to watch the sunset was beautiful. There was a platform where you were able to take some beautiful photos and also a swing. Unfortunately due to the popularity of the site it was exceptionally busy. Nothing that the tour guy could of done about it though as I assume it is a public space. I would 100% do this tour again. Its is fantastic value for money and we were able to sample local deserts and alcohol at no extra cost.

Amazing sunset views - Excellent tour with some beautiful scenery made all the better by our tour guide Eddie. Got to see a traditional Portuguese village and taste their food and drink topped off by an amazing sunset viewing point not to mention the fun element in the safari car. Eddie was very knowledgeable and friendly too.

A surprisingly bad tour - Ah. Where do I start? Well, on the positive side, Allison, our guide, was kind and seemed like a really good guy. But for the rest, I'm truly shocked for the other reviews. Now, you get picked by a jeep, and you sit for the whole duration of the trip in the back, 6 of you, on uncomfortable seats, without any seat belts, turned 90° to the side, so you look at other passengers and not on the road the whole time. The weather in Albufeira was around 23-24° so it got REALLY cold as basically you spend at least 1:30 hours driving. The engine is so loud that when our guide was explaining stuff on the way there, only the people next to him could hear him. The tour seemed rushed and I did not feel safe driving as the guide was constantly checking the mobile phone, presumably not to be late for the sunset. The first stop was at a Goji farm, which was okay but is a tourist trap only designed for you to buy stuff. I would appreciate stopping on a farm with products of local origin and not from stuff that is not from the Iberian peninsula. The guides also disappointingly commented out loud how we did not buy stuff; they thought we did not understand any Portuguese. For the second stop, the guide offered us to chose the spot, but since no one knew the area, this was useless. At the end, we stopped at some village to see the Fountains but at the end we did not see them due to a local party. So the whole 15-minute stop was absolutely useless. Finally, the sunset was nice, although after seeing the sunsets on the catamaran tour in Cadiz andin Cabo St. Vincent, we were not as amazed. Although I appreciate the effort and the idea of the tour, I am shocked to see the rating of this tour on TripAdvisor, as this was by far the worst tour on our 2-week trip in Spain and Portugal.
