New Wave is the one to choose! - We went on the Wave Train combo with Big Red last week. What a fun adventure! Big Red is an amazing, professional guide. She was really personable and we were so confident having her at the helm. This was definitely a trip highlight! Highly recommend New Wave!

New Wave Adventure is THE white water choice at Denali! - Up in Denali, you will find several options for outdoor activities and several companies running each one. Let me tell you, New Wave Adventures deserves to be at the top of your list when maki g plans. I was on a solo trip to Alaska on some heavy personal business. When I was looking for an activity to lift my spirits, I called around to most of the companies in the area, the friendliest reception I got was from NWA. This was a good sign as I had seen them doing business the day before and was also impressed by that. They plugged me in with another group and my reservation was set. When they called an hour later to report that the other group cancelled, I was worried that I would be left high and dry. No worries though, the owners agreed to take me out solo. *By the way, they had no idea why I was in the area or that I was feeling really down. I arrived and was treated with exceptional customer service. They made me feel valued, welcome, and excited for the trip ahead. As we loaded up the boat, I realized they had literally called in a team of guides to fill the boat for the one customer. Pretty amazing. The company motto about making “every trip the best trip” is definitely more than words, it’s how NWA does business. The raftIng was a phenomenal mix of breathtaking scenery and physical thrills. Peacock was an outstanding captain and a knowledgeable guide, filling the ride with interesting bits on everything from geology to local history. In short, I cannot recommend New Wave Adventures enough. I have a tremendous appreciation for the company and its staff. If you miss this white water outing, you’re missing out on something as big as Mt. Denali itself.
