The Roman Theater is a neighborhood and archaeological site in Alexandria, Egypt. Initially, Kom El-Dikka was a prosperous residential area, later evolving into a significant civic center in Alexandria, featuring a bath complex (thermae), auditoria (lecture halls), and a theatre. Today, Kom el-Dikka stands as the largest and most complete above-ground archaeological site in Alexandria. It offers extensive archaeological evidence of urban life in Roman Egypt, including early villas with their mosaics and late Roman public works.
