Excellent tour - We had an amazing time with our driver Ahmed and our lady guide who explained everything so well. She was friendly and attentive to our needs. The sites were very nice to visit, especially if it is your first time. The food at the restaurant was delicious.

Great day trip - Great day trip. Saw sights and provided great knowledge of all from our guide. Our driver Mohummad was outstanding. Best tour to Alexandria - The tour was great, everything was in order. The driver, Ahmed was waiting for me at the airport at the time I mentioned. After 2.5 hours long drive, we reached Alexandria where I met Hebbah, the guide and she was really sweet in explaining and taking pictures and suggesting me things I should do and not do. At the end of the trip we went for lunch to a French restaurant and it was right in front of the sea with a beautiful view. Both of them never mentioned of any tip, they were not accepting even if I offered which I really liked, otherwise there are many guides who demand tips.

Fantastic day trip, I definitely recommend! - I had a wonderful time on this trip to Alexandria, everything was perfect! 🙂 My driver arrived early to my hotel to pick me up, was a great driver, was friendly and clear about the plans for the day and made me feel very safe, which I appreciated as a solo female traveller. I had a lovely female guide (which I was very happy about!) who we met in Alexandria, she was so friendly and knowledgeable about all the sites we went to, and general information regarding local customs/tipping etc. Lunch was at a nice seafood restaurant & was delicious. I definitely recommend this tour, is a lovely day out outside of Cairo!

A Nice Day with Nermeen! - I've done 3 different tours with Emo Day Tours Egypt and they are fantastic! As a tour guide myself in America, I definitely recommend Emo if you're traveling in Egypt. Our most recent tour from Cairo to Alexandria was very a perfect day. The driver was very nice, and our tour guide Nermeen was great. She was very knowledgeable and spoke English well. If there was one recommendation I would make, it would be perhaps having Emo pay for the guide's lunch during the tour too. For some tourists, it's fun to eat with their guide and continue having conversations. During our tour, we asked Nermeen to join us and paid for her lunch ourselves since it was at our request. But it would be nice if the company provided lunch for their guides too as a standard practice. For the people confused or complaining about being asked to pay by card at tourist attractions and then given the cash by their guide, just know this is absolutely fine and a common practice in Egypt. Many sites managed by the Department of Antiquities do not accept cash at all and require tourists to pay for themselves using a card. There's nothing shady about the practice, and it's only a small amount. Nothing to worry about. Many thanks Emo. I'll be booking again next time I'm in Egypt :)

The Alexandria of our dreams - The most remarkable part of the trip to Alexandria was our pilot Mr Ashraf, so caring, so friendly and so much concerned about our well being! The journey from Cairo and back was replete with very interesting conversations that made us aware of so many things about Alexandria we did not know. The spots were well selected (Pillar of Pompeii, the Citadel, the Library) and the lunch at the Fish Market was too good. This was one of the best trips we have had for a long time!
