Excellent Day at the Giza Pyramids and GEM - My great experience with our guide, Mahmoud, started even before we arrived in Egypt. I contacted him to discuss the details of the day and asked if we could visit the pyramids before going to the GEM since I wanted to spend the coolest part of the day at the pyramids. He happily agreed to that schedule and responded quickly to all of my questions. Additionally, we needed to transfer between hotels to meet a tour group on the day that we took this tour. I asked Mahmoud if I could pay him additional to take us to the new hotel rather than hiring another driver and not only did he do that for us, but the driver for this tour kept our luggage securely in his vehicle for us the entire day while we toured with Mahmoud. Mahmoud was extremely patient and knowledgeable. He's a very experienced guide and provided information that we wouldn't have learned if we had toured on our own. It was great to have his assistance throughout the day with even basic things like purchasing entrance tickets and choosing a camel ride provider at the pyramids. In addition to visiting the pyramids and the GEM, he provided an absolutely delicious lunch then we stopped by a jewelry store and a spice shop. We received excellent service at each place which made the whole experience feel like we were going to visit old friends. I highly recommend choosing any tour with Egypt Vacation Tours, you won't be disappointed!

To do without hesitation. A museum of great elegance. - Must-see place if you are going to Egypt. This cleverly conceptualized attraction to celebrate the pyramids and their treasures will amaze you for sure. The GEM (Great Egyptian Museum) in Giza, near the three great pyramids, impresses in the staging of statues especially that mark the arrival to the halls. Il y en a 12. Unfortunately, the rooms are a little poor. It is time for the great European museums to return what they plundered during colonisation.

Want an exceptional, enthusiastic Egyptologist and a safety conscious guide - book with this company! - Mahmoud couldn't have been more helpful. Cairo can be hectic, but Mahmoud is a safe pair of hands. Our tour of the museum was tailored to our interests, his knowledge is first class and is enthusiasm and ability to weave a narrative made the tour really stand out. In the bazaar he expertly guided us and gave advise without overstepping. The pyramids were great, but Mahmoud was the true star of the show, providing even more insights and tales to tie all of the other threads together. If we could have had even more tours with Mahmoud, we would have, but sadly we booked everything in advance - our other tours were not as good. If you're reading this, book and ask for Mahmoud.

Amazing Egypt Experience - I loved this tour day! As a solo female traveller (24) it was important that i felt comfortable with my guide. As soon as i met Mahmoud El-Feky I felt safe. He is professional and friendly and he really cared about what I wanted to see/know about Egypt. He was very knowledgable and shared such interesting stories with me. After a couple of days he felt like a good friend. I was lucky to have Mahmoud and would recommend him to anyone wanting to experience the wonderful things Egypt has to offer 😊

2 pyramids in the background of such an impressive museum - Colossal structure, half baroque, half classic exterior. A superb architectural design. A garden. Beauties of course of ancient Egypt which joins contemporary one. A damper. The price for a foreigner is double the price for an Egyptian. A must see.

Fraud - The NOOOOO museum is operable, it only has 4 statues and the rest is closed and the HDPs sell it to you as a MUSEUM, they charge you 50 usd x enter to see 4 statues, 2 shops and restaurants....they charge you x see rastaurants!, you claim and they tell you that it is NON-REFUNDABLE, a fraud and that you "accepted" when buying the ticket, and to top it off the staff is rude and rough, and then because tourism flees to Egypt
