- Tombs of the Nobles - These tombs are some of the best least-visited attractions on the west bank. Nestled in the foothills opposite the Ramesseum are more than 400 tombs belonging to nobles from the 6th dynasty to the Graeco-Roman period. Where royal tombs were decorated with cryptic passages from the Book of the Dead to guide them through the afterlife, the nobles, intent on letting the good life continue after their death, decorated their tombs with wonderfully detailed scenes of their daily lives.
- Valley of the Artisans (Deir el-Medina) - This site takes its name from a Ptolemaic temple, later converted to a Coptic monastery
- the Monastery of the Town
- but the real attraction is the unique Workmen’s Village. Many of the skilled workers and artists who created tombs in the Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens lived and were buried here. Archaeologists have uncovered more than 70 houses in this village and many tombs: the most beautiful are now open to the public.
- Tomb of Rekhmire - The most interesting parts of the tomb of Sennofer, overseer of the Garden of Amun under Amenhotep II, are to be found deep underground, in the main chamber. The ceiling there is covered with clear paintings of grapes and vines, while most of the vivid scenes on the surrounding walls and columns depict Sennofer and all the different women in his life, including his wife, daughters and wet nurse. It is a short but steep climb down into the tomb.

Superb guide, new friend in Luxor - We booked Khaled for a full day tour of the West Bank and East Bank. He was recommended to us by our fantastic guide in Cairo. Khaled picked us up promptly at 7am in very comfortable new car.
What struck us immediately was that Khaled had a sense of humor and wouldn’t just be a guide, but also a fun and engaging teacher.
We visited the Valley of the Kings and skipped Hatshepsut’s Temple and the Ramaseum. Instead we went to Habu Medinet based on Khalid’s recommendation and happy we did. Khalid gave us his expert and honest opinion on all the sights and it made our day all the more worthwhile.
We also visited Karnak and Luxor Temples. There was no question Khaled couldn’t answer and he truly inspired us to learn more about Ancient Egypt.
He also made a lot of great recommendations for shops and sights. Not in the upselling way, but out of a genuine and enthusiastic love for his hometown. The entire day we felt like we were hanging out with a friend who wanted us to have the best experience possible.
My husband and I recommend him 10/10 and will absolutely have him as our guide when we come back to Egypt again to visit Alexandria and Aswan.

Amazing experience and top service - Me and my husband had a wonderful time from first moment we arrived to Luxor. Tarek (our tour guide/Egyptologist) was excellent, his knowledge and expertise was just perfect. Nothing was a problem and everything we asked for we got. We have seen so much. We have done some other trips which are not listed here. We had fabulous time and definitely be back again, going with this Tour agency for sure. Thank you so much!

Best tour guide in Egypt! - Khaled was my guide and he was amazing! It has been one of the best tours I have ever taken. His knowledge and way to share ancient Egypt history makes it more memorable. I mentioned to avoid very touristic restaurants and he went far and beyond to give me an Egyptian experience. Highly recommended!
