SO worth it! - An absolutely charming excursion with a delightful hostess who was from Poland. We saw well known important sites as well as small off-the-beaten path locations. Everything felt fresh and unhurried although we were picked up and returned exactly on time. Highly recommend it!

Great experience - Great experience with 8 people in the tour. Johanna was an excellent guide and driver. We saw a lot and she was very personable with all of us.

Simply stunning!! - This was such an incredible tour of Akureyri and all of its natural beauty!! We had the best driver and tour guide who was very passionate about his country. At the group's request we skipped the nature bath and visited Dettifoss waterfalls. One of the most powerful waterfalls that took our breath away!! Lake Myvatn was also stunningly beautiful! He got us back to the pier at 5pm which was perfect for our ship's departure at 6pm. He ensured that we saw all the main sights during this day tour. I would highly recommend this tour as you won't be disappointed!

Amazing Tour in Akureyri - My husband and I went with another couple while on a cruise to Iceland, Ireland, and Scotland. Although the tour had a bit of a rough start with the bus slightly breaking down, the driver/guide was phenomenal. She kept us in the loop on what was going on, had another guide come out to meet us while she went with the mechanic to get the bus fixed, and made sure we knew exactly when and where to meet. We had fun exploring the town while they fixed the bus as quickly as they could so they could get us back on the tour. To us, things happen and it's how you deal with it that makes the difference - the way they handled it was incredibly professional! They took great care of us. Once on the tour, they made sure we still got to see everything planned. The waterfall was incredible and the guide took pictures for everyone who wanted them, which was super appreciated. The lava formations were incredibly cool to walk through and she stopped at several viewpoints so we could look and take pictures. Once we arrived at the nature bath, anyone who wanted to go in could. We chose to grab food and just hang out and she asked if we wanted to go see another sight a short way away while. The four of us and a few other people went and it was a crater lake with the most incredible view. We had an amazing time on this tour and can't recommend it and the company enough!

A fun and informative day - This was an excellent day. Our. Guide was very knowledgeable about the area. We enjoyed her stories and humour all day long. Highly recommend this tour!

Beautiful Stops! Must See! - Comfortable transportation, excellent guide, beautiful stops. Could have used a little more time at Godafoss but being a cruise passenger I understood that we had to keep going to make it back to the ship!

Awesome tour and tour guide - We were very surprised by this tour. We had no idea there were so many beautiful places to see near Akureyri. There we some stops we knew would be amazing, but some of the other stops really surprised us with how beautiful they were in person. If you have limited time, this is definitely the best way to maximize your time.

Excellent driver - Superbly friendly and informative guide/driver who was on time. Each of the places was given plenty of time to explore.

Beautiful Waterfalls but Lake Myvatn was a challenge with the bugs - It was a good beautiful drive from Reykjavik. The Godafoss Waterfall was beautiful and scenic. We visited the nature baths and the Geothermal areas as well. The main problem that we experienced was Lake Myvatn. Even though it was picturesque, the flies were too much to handle. they were everywhere. It made it a bad experience and not enjoyable. Lots of money to have flies in your mouths and ears. I know it is nature at its best but just too . Tour guide company should have offered head nets for us and informed us upfront in the description. It would have to set the expectations properly. But then again, who would sign up for the tour if they would have disclose the flies?

The landscape was... - The landscape was wonderful. The beginnong of the tour was a disaster. We were at the bus at 8 am, which was stated on the tour info. The tour guide said to me, "shame on you for making us late". Evidently there was a late email sent that I didn't receive, that told us to be at the bus at 7:30. Not a good start to a would be nice tour.
