Akureyri - Arrival - Upon arrival, you will be introduced to your local knitting expert and guide, who will be with you throughout your stay. She will review the itinerary and provide a presentation on Icelandic knitting, including wool, designs, and patterns. Together, you will select a knitting project to work on during your visit. If needed, she will teach you the basics of knitting and assist with any questions. In the evening, enjoy a northern lights hunt, driving out of Akureyri to seek the lights, with informative commentary and hot drinks along the way.

Godafoss Waterfall - Local Handcraft Artisan - Forest Lagoon

Godafoss - Begin the day with a drive to the stunning Godafoss waterfall, experiencing its beauty up close.

North Iceland - Visit a local artisan who will demonstrate their craft and share insights into their work.

Forest Lagoon - Conclude the day with a relaxing soak in the Forest Lagoon before returning to your hotel.

Whale Watching & Micro Brewery

Whale Watching Hauganes - Start the day with a 35-minute drive along the Arctic coastline to Hauganes for a whale watching tour with one of Iceland’s most experienced companies.

Hauganes - Visit a local artisan to learn about their craft, followed by a light lunch featuring local cuisine.

Relaxation in Akureyri and The Christmas House - Wellness

Akureyri - On your final day, meet your guide for a leisurely stroll through Akureyri. Enjoy storytelling, wellness activities, and a light lunch while reviewing your knitting project.
