Hot pools , cheaper wine and lovely people ! - Wasnt sure what to expect but hey ho - part of our trip so why not try eh ? The changing facilities are not for the feint hearted as you literally change in front of grown adults and children but i didnt mind , just warning those of a more nervous dosposition . I believe there are private changing rooms though . Fab facilities and great experience ,especially the hotter pools . Special thanks for Unnur in the bar area who was a lovely person to chat to . Also , hidden secret , cheapest wine in Akureyri during Happy Hour and delicious traditional lamb soup .

Lovely lagoon - We always try to go to as many lagoons as possible on our trips to Iceland. The lagoon is only a few years old and is very nice. It is quite large so it is easy to find a spot to yourself. There is a sauna, hot pool and cold plunge as well. The swim up bar has an extensive drink menu. We paid about $152 for the two of us. At check in, they do explain that you need to shower naked before going into the lagoon. It its not a big deal at all to this, but some people ignored this which is frustrating. The lagoons signature drink was very good. It was blue raspberry krap with lemonade and vodka. There is a burger food truck in the main parking lot and it was open until 9pm. The burgers were very good, but huge.

Icelandic experience you don't want to miss! - Incredible place! Lovely accommodations. In a beautiful location fairly easy to get to (or just use the free shuttle bus from HOF). The staff was great, the spa/pools and facilities were PERFECT!! Well worth the time, money and effort. NO regrets!

Top Experience! - The location is amazing, facilities are wonderful, the views are mesmerizing and the staff very nice! It’s a great experience if you would like a more “private” hot spring experience in Iceland and not too far from the city. It is definitely a must while in Akureyri!

Soaking cares away - Loved it! This was a shore excursion. Clean facilities, friendly staff. The shower and changing area clean. There was a communal shower as well as private changing rooms. There was shampoo and body wash. Not crowded at all.

Relax and enjoy! - Be prepared to shower naked with other women before entering the lagoon. There are a few private showers but not many so you will have to wait. Off season the bus runs only on the hour. Coming back to catch the cruise ship the cab that was requested never showed up. Fortunately the bus started going back and forth more frequently. The lagoon is delightful and much less expensive than Blue or Sky lagoons. The drink I had was delicious! Very relaxing!
