Brilliant experience! - Jesus was a lovely guide. He was welcoming and helpful. Very knowledgeable and patient with us. We managed to see nine turtles and also a manta ray, as well as a Spanish cannon submerged and corals. I really recommend him as your guide.

A fun time in the ocean, would do again - They told us where to park, and provided the equipment. Took an easy swim out and witnessed sea turtles, stingray, and fun blue fish that liked nibbling the buoy chains.

Excellent guide - The tour guide was very helpful. He saw that I was struggling with snorkeling and let me hold on to his equipment while we swam to see the turtles.

Great experience - Our guide was fantastic. He told us how much he loves his job. It was obvious. He pointed out so many turtles and a couple of sting rays. He also identified the fish we saw. He constantly made sure we were ok and wanted to continue. I only wish I could remember his name. It was a wonderful experience.

Better than expected!!! - Santiago, our guide, was very sweet and knowledgeable! We saw so many turtles and even some stingrays! We had such a blast and strongly recommend :)

Very affordable, so many turtles! - David was very good at spotting turtles! I suggest doing the 9am tour as Akumal gets very busy quickly. The meeting spot is actually a booth a little ways down from the parking lot. If you’re getting a taxi ride it is easy as he will wait for the guide to arrive. In the short time we were in the water we saw more than 6 different sea turtles! We walked the beach of Akumal after and saw barracuda and stingrays very close to the shore. It is an amazing cove and this is the best value trip!

Excellent activity! - Awesome experience swimming with the sea turtles—we also saw rays, squid, and a blowfish! Our guide Angel was excellent. Best for kids who are confident swimmers (though everyone wore life vests and Angel had a rescue float, it wouldn't be fun for someone who wasn't confident in the water). You won't be able to apply sunscreen once you arrive because they have a rule about waiting before going in the water, so you may want to apply early before heading there.

Incredible experience, highly recommend! - My girlfriend and I had an amazing time with our guide Jesus. He made sure we got to see as much as possible and helped keep us calm as both of us are a bit weary of water. William met us at the entrance and walked us to meet the guide. Everything went smoothly and both Jesus and William were so friendly. We highly recommend booking with them!

Mixed experience - Unforgettable experience because we saw many turtles and rays. Fortunately there were only 5 of us with the guide. On the other hand, the turtle observation area is shielded with groups of sometimes 15 people, which is still disturbing for the well-being of the underwater fauna. Mixed results because a little guilty for having participated in this mass tourism that does not respect the seabed

Once in a lifetime experience - We are a family of 5, our children are 13, 11 & 8. We had a fantastic & unforgettable experience snorkelling with turtles. It was great to have a private guide. Our daughter was a little nervous and he guided her on her float and she managed to snorkel and enjoy herself. We went early, so it wasn’t overly busy. Only minus one star as we couldn’t find the meeting point. The Viator instructions weren’t clear and we walked up the road unnecessarily.
