Great Day Trip Snorkeling with Turtles and Swimming in Underground Caves - My husband and I did turtle snorkeling in Akulum and a Ceynotes cave swim excursion. Our tour guide, Mimi, was friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. We were with a small group of 10 people. We saw turtles and other sea life in the Akulum Bay although there were a lot of groups and it was a little crowded which made the water a little murky. Really enjoyed the swim in the Ceynotes. Learned a lot about Mayan culture and it was a great experience overall!

Great private tour - We had a great experience. Our fabulous guide, Xenia, picked us up right on time and got us to Akumal beach right after it opened. After a short boat ride out to the reef we were treated to amazing views of 5 Green Turtles, some squid, 3 stingrays and various gorgeous fish. Getting there early was key, as the beach became more and more crowded as the day went on. I can't say enough about Xenia, she was awesome! She is the kind of person I could have sat and had a beer with. We sprung for the photo package and they are fabulous and worth the money.

Phenomenal experience - We booked the private tour right through Viator, we really waited until the last minute, but as so glad we went. Our guide Xenia arrived at our resort right on time and was so personable I think I would have enjoyed having a drink with her after the tour :). We arrived at Akumal beach right as it opened so it was not very crowded. There was a 5 minute boat ride out to the reef and then we were right in the water. The clarity of the water was phenomenal at first but it went downhill as the water became more and more crowded. We saw at least 5 green turtles, some squid, 3 sting rays and many other beautiful fish. Xenia made sure we had a wonderful experience. We did purchase the picture package, which although was a bit pricey we couldn't pass up the documentation of this amazing experience. The photographer, Daniel, did a wonderful job. I also was able to document some of it with my own gopro. I'm so glad we did it! It ended up being my daughter's favorite part of the trip.

Snorkeling & Canote w/ Niko - Niko did a fantastic job showing us the Sea Turtles and Stingrays, he was very descriptive when explaining things and we were able to enjoy ourselves stress free. The driver and photographer were also great! The Cenote was also a highlight! We can't wait to come back!

Snorkeling with turtles - Akumal - This was beyond our expectations, loved every minute! Our guide, Jorge, was absolutely great, very patient, kind, friendly and with a huge smile at all times - not to mention his knowledge about the area. I also loved his eco-friendly attitude and how he was sharing the awareness! Totally recommended!

Great day with Ocean Tours - A great day with Alex as guide and David as driver: snorkling with turtles in Akuma bay then visit of a dry Cenote and swimming in a closed Cenote. Everything was perfect, safe and well organised. Kids and adults enjoyed our day . Thanks to Ocean Tours

Great snorkeling and Cenotes tour! - My wife and I had a great time on our February 12 snorkeling with Sea Turtles and Cenotes combo tour. The tour pick up arrived right on time, we were offered fruit and muffins for the ride. We appreciated our small 10 person grouping. Cannot say enough good things about our many hatted tour guide Diana. Not only did she provide detailed descriptions of all of our activities (in both English and Spanish as our group was a mix of folks from USA, Canada, Columbia and Spain) Diane was also our snorkeling guide with the Sea Turtles and our hiking and swimming guide with two Cenotes types Dry and Wet. Diana clearly is proud of her area in Mexico and provided great information and history. While snorkeling we saw 4 different turtles including one exceptionally large big boy, as well as a StingRay and many tropical fish. A lot of fun. We then drove to the first Cenotes in the “Jungle “, we were given delicious homemade empanadas prior to starting our short walk to the Cenotes. The Cenotes was really cool and Diana gave us a great description. We then went to the second Cenotes which involved us jumping into the water and touring the extensive structures while floating in our life jackets. What great way to do so! The tour also had a photographer join us from the start and took many great pictures which were available for purchase at a reasonable price- we took advantage. We really recommend- my wife is not a strong swimmer and was a bit apprehensive, but was so happy we did it and went so far as to say she would do it again!
