Monastery Gouverneto or Lady of Angels one of Crete’s oldest monasteries is located in the Akrotiri peninsula, 19 km north of Chania and 4 km from the monastery of Monastery Katholiko the mystical place for Ascetics.

- To visit the Monastery, you must wear modest clothes: for women – a skirt/dress under your knees and covered shoulders. For men – trousers, T-shirt with long sleeves.
