Wonderful experience! - This was a great experience and our tour guide was great! It was so wonderful to see the lavender fields and the sunflowers. And seeing them at sunset was fabulous. The stop at the farm was so nice. It was a pretty long tour and I think I would’ve preferred 4 hours in total instead of 6+ hours. It was a lovely experience and I will recommend to others.

I will go again and again to Aix en Provence to see the Lavender! - The light of the sunset makes the lavender very much more vibrant. It is stunning! Make sure to bring bug spray, and potentially cover your ankles. I was immersed in the fields but returned with lots of bites. Also, plan the week you go to catch the lavender in full bloom, taking into account if the season has been hotter than usual hence the lavender will be harvested and cut sooner than later. we went July 12 and it was the last day before it was harvested. Next time I would go last week of june possibly. I am very interested in flowers and learned so many facts about lavender. I loved this! Friends did the 9 hour day tour as well as this and preferred this. They mentioned it was very hot during the day and the lavender not as beautiful. Our tour guide was wonderful. We would most likely go again. Southern france is an about gem and cannot be missed!

It was an excellent... - It was an excellent experience. The views and scenery were spectacular. We visited a lovely village and a few shops to purchase lavender infused items. I was a solo traveler but met several people which made the trip fun. I highly recommend it.

Lavender at dusk - The tour exceeded expectations. The drive was comfortable. Our tour guide had a well planned evening and provided information on the area. We were able to see how lavender is bailed and explained about the essence extraction. Each stop had excellent photo opportunities and the dusk photos are my favorite of our trip. The lavender icecream is the most amazing thing I have tasted. Thank you for a beautiful evening. We found the pick up point confusing, so suggest clarifying with your guide ahead of time

We took gorgeous photos and had so much fun. Our guide, Nicholas, was wonderful. He was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and made the experience even more special with all the interesting information he shared. It was a magical evening from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Love lavender! - We had a wonderful time. The lavender fields at sunset were beautiful, and much cooler than earlier in the day. Jenny taught us all sorts of things about lavender.

Sunset at Valensole - Due to large bushfire near Marseilles, pick up in Aix en Provence was delayed by 1 hour. Guide Silvio dropped by a bakery for passengers to grab some food, then drove to Valensole. Stopped at a lavender shop for some shopping before spending 30 mins in Valensole village. Valensole village was very quiet when we arrived, only a few stores and bars were open. However, we still got to try the handmade lavender ice cream which was very yummy! Around 8 pm, we started heading towards the lavender fields. We stopped at 3 different lavender fields but only got to spend around 10 to 15 mins at each field, which was a bit too rush to enjoy and take some nice pictures. Would have been better if we got to spend at least 20 mins at each field. Overall, the sunset magic hour at Valensole lavender fields is amazing!

An exquisite experience, but lacking in explanations ! - The sunset sights were exquisite! The combination of little rain and sunshine made the experience amazing. Wonderful surprise as we stopped in sunflower fields. A must if you are in this part of the world. One important detail missing: absence of commentary. We were not even told the name of the village we visited or what to visit. We had to ask if we had arrived on the plateau. So much information missing, at least for curious people. The guide was very pleasant but short on information. The experience could have been much richer!

Too long - The lavender fields were gorgeous, but much of this tour was spent waiting around for the sun to set. I think it was 6 total hours, while 2 were driving there and back, it felt quite long. It felt repetitive as we went to about 6 different fields that mostly looked the same. I think the 2 or 3 last fields actually during sunset were worthwhile but the first 4 hours were largely spent waiting. Additionally, we wished we’d learned about the history of lavender in Provence or the process of making lavender products or the difference between the fields we saw. That said the fields were beautiful but it could’ve been a shortened to the last 2 hours during sunset.
