Mountains, the sea, and a vineyard! - Loved both the boat ride into the Calabques, as well as having ample time to absorb the charming harbor town of Cassis. Our guide struck the perfect balance between sharing his wealth of insights to the area, and giving us the opportunity to create our own impressions.

Great day trip. - Cassis is a quaint fishing village with fantastic restaurants and cute boutiques. It was raining and we had a rocky boat ride…but worth it for the views of the blue water and cliffs. Our guide Julien was knowledgeable, friendly and fun. We went to two wineries..one could not accommodate a tasting. The other was beautiful even in the rain. A great day overall! Definitely worth it.

Sunny Cassis - A wonderful day in the fishing village of Cassis that included a boat ride to the calanques, wine and food tasting, a stop at a long-established perfume atelier, and a fabulous lunch. Our guide Camille was friendly and informative, and definitely key to a successful day.

Fantastic day — thank you Camille!! - Our guide, Camille, was fantastic! The day was well planned from start to finish. Camille made everyone in our small group feel welcome and she was eager to get to know everybody during the drive into Cassis. Once there, she introduced the charming sea-side village and efficiently got us onto one of the first boats leaving for the day to see the idyllic coves along the coastline. Our boat captain did not speak English, but Camille translated and offered her own information about Cassis, its fishing industry, and France in general. We were extremely lucky with the weather — sunny and only slightly cool — and Camille said she has never been on the boat with bad weather. We hope that streak continues because this was a highlight of the day! Once back on land, we went into the narrow lanes of the town and sampled some delicious praline and stopped in a perfumery that has been operating in Cassis for over a century. Next, we were sent off on our own for some lunch. Camille suggested two restaurants, both of which had delicious-looking offerings, but the town also boasts smaller cafes and patisseries. When we all came back together, it was time to view Cassis from above. Camille took us to two incredible cliff-top outlooks to explore and take photos. Then we drove to the winery, which Camille explained has been family owned for four generations. The tasting and tour were short and sweet and a perfect end to our trip. We are so grateful to Camille for sharing her knowledge on this part of France and for generally being a kind and funny guide throughout the day.

Great tour with Caroline - We had a great time and our guide Caroline was very knowledgeable. We were pleased the tour was not cancelled as there were only 3 of us. The views from Cap Canaille are amazing. Shame the boat ride did not take place but the walk in the National Park made up for it. Cassis was lovely and buzzing. Crepes on the corner are a must. Thank you Caroline. Kind regards, Joanne and Jacquie

Great trip - Caroline was fun, full of energy, a safe driver and very knowledgeable. Our group enjoyed her stories of history along the way to Cassis. The boat ride around the harbor was very refreshing and interesting. Lunch recommendations were excellent. The after lunch drive provided a stunning vista. The wine tasting was very nice. We would highly recommend this excursion.
