Ait Ourir - is a town and municipality in Al Haouz Province, Marrakech-Tensift-Al Haouz, Morocco. At the time of the 2004 census, the commune had a total population of 20,005 people living in 3767 households.[1] The town lies on the northern bank of the Ourika River, 29.8 kilometres (18.5 mi) by road to the northwest of Tighedouine and 33.3 kilometres (20.7 mi) east of the city centre of Marrakesh, the market day of this small towen is Tuesday.

With your driver guide, you leave Marrakech and head towards the Atlas Mountains on the road of Ouarzazate via Ait Ourir Tuesday berber weekly market, not tourists market, but its trade market for the bebers once a week before leaving the main itinerary to continue our trip to the Zat Valley. This little Berber paradise is still known by the tourist masses and is hidden in the heart of the Atlas Mountains.
The Zat Valley is bordered by terraces of local cultures in this region, such as poplars, fig trees and authentic villages built in the mountains. You can hike on foot or by the mule by the start of the village of Tighdouine (known for its natural source of sparkling water) for a visit to the village of Talatast.
