2 Ticket Options
Whitehaven Beach All Day (No Snorkelling):
Spend a relaxing day on the pristine sands of Whitehaven Beach. This option includes unlimited transfers from the boat to the beach, a guided walk to the South Whitehaven Lookout, and a buffet lunch served onboard.
Whitehaven Beach + Snorkel:
Enjoy all the features of the all-day beach ticket, plus a snorkelling adventure. Snorkel at one of the Whitsundays’ coral reef locations with provided gear and expert guidance. Guests are transferred to the snorkel site on ZigZag’s original fast boat, which features fold-down stairs for easy water access.
- Minimum Ages - Whitehaven Beach All Day 1+. Whitehaven Plus Snorkel 5+
- We do not accept guests arriving at Airlie Beach By Cruise Ship. Our Meeting and Return times do not align with Cruise Ships!

Loved our day out and feel it was great value. - The boat was well supplied and comfortable. There were a lot of people but was smoothly run so we didn't feel like we missed out on anything. The lunch was delicious and plentiful. The staff continually restocked the buffet so no one missed out. The staff were friendly and efficient.

Fun and relaxing boat tour - My wife and I loved the ZigZag tour. Boat was very comfortable and the ride smooth, and the food provided was great. Whitehaven beach and the water were beautiful. Crew were very helpul and gave me extra assistance and advice as I am recovering from an injury. I went snorkelling in the afternoon and my wife had the option of going back to the beach or staying on the boat.

Fabulous day out with Zig Zag trip to Whitehaven Brach and Snorkelling - It was really fantastic day. Staff were all friendly and extremely helpful . Food was really good . Boat was very comfortable . Would highly recommend. It was very flexible, for instance I stayed on the main boat while my husband went snorkelling and in the afternoon we spent time together on the beach .

The staff was very helpful, friendly and full of humour. For a fee also enough drinks and refreshments available. Recommended!

Thumbs 👍 - Our original booked date had to be rescheduled due to bad weather unfortunately. We received updates with sufficient notice and various options to reschedule or refund. Our day out was brilliant - the staff were friendly, accomodating and there was plentiful food (given that every tour has seagulls), very tasty!
The time spent at each location was ample and compared to other competitors around the area, we were extremely happy to enjoy a sheltered vessel on the travel with equally comfortable transportation to each location.
Snorkelling gear was in good condition with enough entertainment to keep everyone happy for the entirety of the day.

Great day trip - Had an amazing day with this tour! Whitehaven beach is a must see! Saw great coral and fish while snorkeling. Crew was fantastic. Would def do again!

ZIG ZAG TOURS ARE THE BEST!!! - Zig Zag tours are absolutely AMAZING!!! Our family had the BEST day!!! The lunch was really yummy!!! They provide wetsuits/ goggles/ snorkel/ pool noodles and even life jackets if needed. We got to swim on the coral reef and saw many XL turtles!! This tour was definitely the highlight of our holiday!! The Zig Zag team were all really helpful and friendly!! The boat is also amazing with sun decks and large tables. Loads of room and really clean and new!! I highly recommended this tour with Zig Zag!!

Not bad but could be better - The crew were very friendly and organised. The lunch was extremely poor and did not reflect the price paid for the trip. The recommendation would be to have a proper lunch with nicely prepared gourmet sandwiches rather than tubs of vacation styled salads.
The snorkelling experience was average in the sense that there wasn’t a large array of wildlife to see and I’m wondering whether the location provided an optimal experience.
I think that your claim as being the only family operated service at Airlie Beach means you have monopoly over the quality of the experience you provide. You should improve the food aspect that’s for sure.
The pictures on the website showing an aerial view of the boat is misleading because those that are booking are thinking they will have access to a sun lounge. We’re in reality this did not happen. In most regards it seemed as though the crew on board wanted to confine passengers to the main area and not have them go outside to view.

Expensive but we’ve done it - The trip itself is well organised. The staff are friendly and the lunch was good. You don’t spend more than a two hours on the beach and we got an hour snorkelling. Very over priced for what you get out of the day
