Highlights
Check-in at 8:15am at Abell Point Marina for your 9am departure. You will cruise at high speeds to Hill Inlet Lookout and take the famous walk to the lookout for stunning views of Whitehaven Beach. After taking some magical photos you can enjoy some beach time and dip your toes in the crystal clear water.
Once back on board the catamaran, enjoy a delicious lunch and get ready for a well-deserved snorkel. You’ll cruise to Mantaray Bay for snorkeling among the amazing underwater sea life. The fun doesn’t stop there! You’ll enjoy some afternoon snacks and have a second snorkel at one of the many pristine snorkel sights in the Whitsundays. The ride back will be fast and fun!
Arrive at Abell Point Marina at approximately 5pm where the shuttle bus will take you back to your accommodation in Airlie Beach or you can take the short walk into town.

During this action-packed day you will explore the world-famous Whitehaven Beach, climb to Hill Inlet lookout and snorkel two epic locations on the Great Barrier Reef. Of course, during all of these activities, we will also provide snacks, water and a buffet-style lunch !!

- Unfortunately we are unable to cater to dietary requirements. If our menu is not satisfactory passengers are welcome to bring their own snacks.
- Children under two years old MUST be pre-approved by the operator before ticket purchase and supply own lifejacket.

Big day out - My wife and I went on the full day tour and it was amazing. Whitehaven Beach was absolutely gorgeous and there were so many fish to see when we got to the snorkeling spots. Jamie was friendly and knowledgeable and Tommy navigated us through some decent sized swell like a boss. Definitely recommend

HIGHLY RECOMMEND ***** - I cannot recommend Res Cat Adventures enough. Every single crew member is a credit to this company.
We were checked in by Shannon very quickly and she gave us a very warm welcome, we were then given our stinger suits by Will who again did everything to put a smile on our faces as the rain came down!
We then set off for Whitehaven beach with Corey and Curt who were very knowledgeable of the areas and did nothing but make us laugh throughout the day! Two guys who love their jobs and were a great team. We cruised round the islands in the sunshine after two amazing snorkel spots and headed back home with their awesome music playlist!
It really made the families trip!

Thunder cat day out - Great day out with Will and Dave. Lots of information if you need it. The kids had an experience they will remember forever. Good lunch , brownie and fruit stick. Also the music was way better coming home 😉

Fabulous beacha and snorkelling - What a fabulous day!!! From the moment we were picked up to be taken to the marina we were made to feel welcome. The staff were happy, friendly, fun and competent. Everything was so well organised. Special thanks to Zack and Will who definitely deserve a payrise!

Amazing Day at Airlie Beach Whitehaven Beach & Hill Inlet - A truly amazing Day in Airlie Beach going to Whitehaven Beach & Hill Inlet. Red Cat is the ONLY WAY to make this trip. Captain Laura and Deck Hand Peyton were truly professional, safety minded, and fun! Making the treck from Tongue Beach up to the Hill Inlet, to Whitehaven Beach and back to Tongue Beach was a little tough with lots of up-hill walking in the heat, but WELL WORTH IT for views on Hill Inlet. Whitehaven was so beautiful. We also did two snorkeling events at Whitsunday and Hook Islands. Fish everywhere. The coral was so beautiful. What a Great Adventure. I would HIGHLY recommend Red Cat as a company. The Thundercat 03 Boat was so much fun. Red Cat had smaller boats to help folks who weren't strong swimmers. We're from the USA and I already know I have to come back here. This trip made my day so much that I booked Red Cat's Outer Reef tour on Wild Cat for tomorrow! We are so excited. Let's get out there! Cruise ship folks - Make Red Cat a tour to plan! Don't book a cruise ship tour - book with Red Cat and SAVE THE MONEY.

Fantastic Day Out - Fantastic day out with Kaz and Ella, they made the day fun with a great sense of humour and great knowledge of the areas.
Whitehaven beach was amazing as was the snorkeling at Mantaray Bay and Cockatoo Bay, the fish at Mantaray bay were plentiful and swam right upto you.
The reef viewing at Cockatoo Bay was amazing and so beautiful to see.
Although we had some rain it did not spoil the day.
The lunch provided was a great selection and all very fresh.
Highly recommend this days adventure, well worrh it.

Amber is the best! - The day we went the weather was unfortunately very very bad. The rain was heavy and the speed of the boat made the rain fly into our faces (we did pick the front seat so we got it all).
As we started out we felt that the whole day would be ruined and that we had just wasted our money and time BUT the day was saved by the amazing team who looked after us on the boat. The skipper (can’t remember his name unfortunately) was so friendly and welcoming and extremely experienced which made us feel like we were in the hands of someone who really cared about us having a great day.
Then the star of the show who really made the day was Amber. Amber was so funny, welcoming, proffesional, passionate and knowledgeable about every place we went and our fun and safety during the day. She made the whole group laugh and got everyone involved, she was also super nice a friendly with the kids on the boat who were super excited and loved the attention. Honestly we would go back just to have Amber on our boat again. She is really a credit to Red Cat and an invaluable person to have, if it wasn’t for her, the skipper and the work experience student “Luke Brah” we honestly would be writing a very different review.
We saw some amazing coral, we saw loads of fish while snorkelling and we got some really nice pictures thanks to Amber. Thank you so much!

Bad snorkeling sites - The tour was ok. I was expecting amazing snorkeling since it was in the Great Barrier Reef but was left disappointed. I guess if you haven’t snorkeled before then you will be pleased but if you have done some amazing snorkeling in the house reefs of the Maldives then this tour was disappointing. The 2 areas we were taken to was close to shore. The corals were scattered. The second area had fish but no corals. The fishes were abundant as the guide was feeding them. Nothing amazing, unfortunately. The water wasn't clear. I'm sure there are amazing snorkeling areas with an abundance of marine life, however, we just didn't see it with this tour.

A nice day but not spectacular - The view on whitehaven Beach was great and we liked our time on the beach. The first snorkelling was disappointing, many corals are dead. The visibility was also bad. We saw some fish, but I had expected much more. The second snorkelling was great, you see lots of fish!
The food was OK, as was the guide.
