Seaplane trip for two . - We booked the seaplane tour. It was amazing. The reef was spectacular and we saw Whales. Would recommend to anyone. Can't wait to do it again. Thankyou GSL.

Fly & Cruise - Scenic Flight Package: good deal - Very please with the Fly & Cruise - Scenic Flight Package. A very good deal where you get to spend the day at the southern part of Whitehaven beach and flight over the reef for 1 hour on the second day. Staff were very polite and the lunch provided was filling and nice (wrap, bread, potato salad, pasta salad, cheese, ham...you call also buy drinks on the boat and on the beach with staff). I wish the tour guides were more engaging and keeping us posted about lunch time, departure time and so on. I didn't have any problems with this because we stay close to them during the day but I realised that a couple went to sit far away and almost missed lunch time. Maybe a better communication and engaging would have avoided the issue.

Fantastic experience - Everything was perfect, GSL highly recommended, very friendly and quick to respond.They made my experience unforgettable and incredible.

100% recommend - So far we have completed the cruise portion of the tour. We had an amazing day out with GSL, we spent 4 hours in the Whitehaven area and my children absolutely loved it. The snorkelling of the boat was easy with equipment that worked and was in good condition. My boys loved that we actually saw a turtle. The bbq on Whitehaven was delicious and the staff were so helpful. Joel checked us in at airline beach and from the until we left all the crew were fantastic. I would have shouted out to all the staff individually but I’m bad with names and my boys remembered Joel for him telling them what lovely manners they had. I would 100% recommend gsl for an easy going day out. I have friend coming in September who I’ve already advised about this tour. Hopefully the aviation part will be just as great!

AMAZING - ONE OF THE BEST EXPERIENCES OF MY LIFE. Flying over the heart reef was incredibly spectacular. Oh my HEART the views were just breathtaking. Steve and Jenny were fantastic hosts we had lots of laughs. We also had a great day on the Pina Colada. What a great team you have there. Everyone was so helpful and also very funny . Snorkeling was lots of fun and Whitehaven beach speaks for itself. I highly recommend these two experiences. I would most defiantly go again and again and again if I had the $$$$$. Thank you so very much for the best adventure of my life :)

top - Despite the cruise being canceled overnight due to technical problems (a priori refunded), the flight was great! A unique experience ! Nothing to say about the organization, pick-up near the hotel, no waiting to get on the plane, excellent explanations from the pilot! I recommend ☺️

Very disappointed ☹️ - Imagine booking a trip to see the Harbour Bridge and being taken to see Gladesville Bridge instead! That’s exactly what we experienced with GSL Marine. We’d booked to visit the iconic Whitehaven only to be told on the day of our tour there is a change of plans and we’ll be going to Langford island instead. Where is that I hear u ask, well to say it’s a very poor cousin is an understatement. We were dropped off on a tiny sandbar with cabana and a few chairs, not enough for everyone and told that once the tide goes out we can walk to Langford, after waiting a few hours we could finally wade over to the island although not really worth the effort. The bbq lunch wasn’t an option and no paddle boards or activities other than snorkelling were available but it was also $29 to snorkel. Given the huge disappointment u think they could have thrown that in but no that wasn’t offered. I don’t usually do bad reviews but these big companies need to be called out. It’s just not on! I also emailed outlining all the above and I’ve had no reply. Save your money rather than going with these guys!

Don't go with them. If bad weather they offer poor alternatives - We had a fly & cruise seaplane package booked with them. Night before I asked them about weather conditions, which where good. On Whitehaven 10min before our scenic flight got cancelled. They offered a flight for the day after, but we couldn't because we had to drive to cairns to drop off our campervan. We could extend it by 1 day but they were not willing to compensate fuel expense, accommodation or any other expenses we had to make. The refund they offered was very poor as they charged ridiculous fares for the parts we did take. Had lunch but they charged 29aud per person. Lunch was not worth that value.

Very bad experience - AVOID HIRING GSL ADVENTURES!!! They cancelled our ticket the day before at 17.50 (10 minutes before all the other agencies close). We had to run to find another agency to do the tours. After that, we learned that GSL is famous in Airlie Beach for always cancelling tickets.

Unreliable hotel tansport service and unhelpful customer service lead to additional expenses and no refund offered - I booked Whitsundays including hotel pickup and dropoff with GSL. After returning to the port in Airlie I was told to wait here for the driver to drop me off at the hotel. I waited 15min and noone came. When I called the office the lady told me to look for another crew member and ask him to drive me while she will also contact someone. I went back to the pier and everyone has left already. I immediately called the office multiple times again 6 minutes before closing hours and noone picked up. The lady just didn't care that the driver didn't come. She didn't want to help, she just wanted to end her work. Since I was counting on the driver, I didn’t bring any cash to hop on a bus, so I was forced to order a taxi to get back to my hotel. After contacting GSL and explaining the situation, they didn't apologize and also declined a refund of the taxi costs.
