First, you will take the 30-minutes bus drive to Machu Picchu; upon arrival at the main gate, you need to show your Machu Picchu entrance ticket and original passport to enter the citadel. Once inside, your private tour guide will take a walk to the Sungate or Inca Bridge first. Then, start exploring the best of Machu Picchu, stone temples, aqueducts, terraces, palaces, and explain Machu Picchu’s history. When you finish with the guided tour, you can choose to stay exploring on your own, or you can take the bus down to Aguas Calientes and return to Cusco.

An Amazing Experience - The tour with Jose was amazing!, he was very knowledgeable and provided us with great information on the Inca’s. I would highly recommend a private tour with Jose when choosing to go to Machu Picchu!

Awesome experience and great, knowledge guide - Miguel Rozas was an amazing guide. He met us in our hotel lobby well ahead of schedule and took us to purchase a bus ticket before going to Machu Picchu. He was very knowledgeable about the site and prior to entering the city, he gave us an amazing story time about the history of Machu Picchu before walking with us and talking about the different structures as we went through our circuit. This opportunity was great for us because we were able to book travel and our entry tickets in advance of getting our guide, which is how I prefer to plan my itinerary. Miguel also was super enthusiastic about photo ops and knew the best spots and angles. It was a truly great day and absolutely a highlight. I'd 100% recommend this tour.

Amazing experience with Filio! - My husband and I were so lucky to have Filio as our guide! He was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and communication was great! He answered all of our questions, and we had an amazing time letting him guide us through the beautiful ruins of Machu Picchu. He was also very intentional about making sure that we took great photos, which I greatly appreciated! After the tour, he took us to an amazing restaurant with a beautiful mountain and river view where we continued to learn about the history and culture. We would book this tour with him again in a heart beat, 10/10 stars! ⭐️ thank you Filio! 😊

Eccellent experience with an outstanding guide - Katia Duran was an excellent tour guide for our afternoon at Machu Picchu. Her deep knowledge of the Inca history and culture made our day very memorable. Of course we got great photos and Katia took classic pictures of our family. I highly recommend Katia as a guide.

Would recommend this private tour - Would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a private guide to Machu Picchu. We were traveling with my elderly father, and Katia was very accommodating of this. Making sure to walk slower and speak louder so he could listen. The tour was very informative and Katia also knew all the best locations for beautiful photos. Muchas gracias!

Phenomenal service in a pinch, topped with the best guide in Aquas Calientes. - The TreXperience team was beyond helpful, assisting us in making some late adjustments to our itinerary that went off without a hitch. That noted, the true magic was our guide, Jose, who went out of his way to make sure our experience was above and beyond what we anticipated. Jose shared in depth knowledge of Incan history and traditions, illuminating countless details and nuances that brought Machu Picchu to life. He was warm, thoughtful, and a generous spirit. Informative, professional, and insightful - Excellent tour provided by our friendly guide Jose. Jose really knew his stuff and we were impressed with his knowledge and expertise. It made our trip to Machu Pichu much more insightful. There's so much we wouldn't have known if we didn't have a guide, and Jose answered all of our questions about a variety of topics relating to the archaeological site and the Incan culture.
The experience was seamless from meeting us outside the station, leading a well informed and detailed tour, and leading us back down to Agua Calientes. Well organised and highly recommended.

Memorable and enjoyable - Filio started off simply as our guide and became our friend by the end of this very informative tour. He patiently waited in our hotel lobby until my family was ready to go. He walked us to the bus stop in Aguas Calientes and ensured we had the proper items/tickets for our journey to Machu Picchu.
Once at the top, he gave us an in-depth account of the Inca history and the significance of various places in this mystical city. He graciously offered his very creative photography skills to capture our family at numerous scenic overlooks.
He had us back in town with plenty of time for lunch and to catch our train back to Ollantaytambo. And even more remarkable was his kindness to assist me several hours after we departed when I needed transportation back to Cusco. Was much less stressful knowing we would get a trustworthy and safe driver instead of someone random at the station.
