Ruth was amazing! Great... - Ruth was amazing! Great energy, great story telling and very knowledgeable going around the site. She was super patient with us taking photos and even suggested the best spots and took pictures of us. Recommend the tour guides 100%.

The BEST guide in Machu Picchu - My partner and I booked this private tour and were blown away by our experience. As soon as we booked I got a WhatsApp from the company to confirm all our details (entrance time, what train we were arriving on, what circuit we booked) that immediately instilled confidence and gave us peace of mind. When we arrived on the train in Aguas Calientes, we were met immediately by Rosa who guided us to the shuttle tickets and line which we never would have found without her! Once we arrived to the Machu Picchu entrance, we were met by Ruth. Ruth was the most wonderful guide we could have ever asked for. She has been leading tours in Machu Picchu for 17 years and seems to know every other guide and official on the mountain. She is extremely knowledgable, exceedingly kind, and knows every single place to stop for breathtaking photos (and is a great photographer!). My partner and I will certainly never forget our experience with Ruth and we have incredible photos to look back on (our only regret is not getting one with Ruth!). We cannot recommend this tour highly enough, thank you for an amazing time!!

Amazing Tour Guide - We booked everything except the tour guide. Speaking to other travelers they suggested we contact Machupicchu Edu Tours. We contacted them very last minute and arranged a tour for the next day. Ruth our tour guide was awesome. Our train was an hour delayed and she waited patiently at the entrance for us. She guided and assisted us with getting to Machu Picchu which is chaotic. Since our train was delayed we had limited time, she knew exactly what pace was comfortable for my family, where to take all the best pictures, her knowledge of the history, region and culture was impressive. We were able to complete the Inca bridge, circuit 2 within 3 hrs thanks to Ruth. I highly recommend this tour guides.

So much added insight into Machu Picchu! - What a magical place! Edu took the time to walk through and explain the whole site. He had so much passion and did such a great job with the storytelling and history of both Machu Picchu and the Inca. He also provided me with tips for when I was visiting again the second day.

Nothing but praise for this private Machu Picchu tour! - Wilber, our most excellent guide, met us at our hotel. We were both early. We rode the bus together to the Machu Picchu site. My son and I both have Spanish but English is our primary language. Wilber effortlessly switched between the 2 explaining unfamiliar terms in English. He really was expert about this site and described not only the architecture and Inca culture but the plants and birds as well. My son is a tour guide himself at home and he is hard to impress but he said it was one of the best tours he ever was on. Communication was excellent via WhatsApp including a last minute hotel switch at 7PM the night before. They will send you a comprehensive packing list. Don’t forget that you will need to purchase your Machu Picchu site tickets weeks in advance and present your passport at the gate. Thank you Wilber!!

Excellent tour - Edward was such a great tour guide from start to finish. He was so helpful from the time I began planning my trip!! He is the best around!! He’s so passionate about MP & is very well connected in the area!!He even helped us so much when we had an issue with our entrance ticket to MP! Such a positive experience!!
