• Kourtaliotiko Gorge - The Palm Beach of Preveli, known as Lake of Preveli, is situated at the mouth of Mega River, which channels the waters from the impressive Kourtaliotiko gorge.

The Kourtaliotiko gorge is a renowned and favored spot for nature enthusiasts in the Rethymno region of southern Crete. This natural wonder is located in the southern part of Crete, Greece, and is celebrated for its breathtaking beauty and rugged landscape, featuring steep cliffs, narrow passages, and deep ravines.

Before heading to the beach, we will pause briefly to capture photos of the magnificent springs, a unique natural setting due to its landscape. The combination of the towering vertical cliffs of the gorge, the river with its green waters, and the distinctive palm tree forest creates a magical ambiance. It is considered the most romantic beach in Crete.

• Preveli Palm Forest - A walk of approximately 25 minutes will offer us the unforgettable chance to swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Libyan Sea, next to the tropical river, bask in the sun, and wander through the exotic palm tree forest. Preveli is a picturesque and stunning beach where we have free time to enjoy a refreshing swim in the clear waters of the Libyan Sea, sunbathe, relax, embark on an adventurous walk through the tropical palm tree forest, or have a coffee or lunch.
• Rethymnon - Our final stop, before heading back, will be a visit to the old traditional town of Rethymno for a stroll or a coffee break. Extending from its Venetian harbor through a labyrinth of alleyways and bustling streets, Rethymno Old Town encapsulates the life, history, and traditions of Crete’s third-largest city.
