Relaxing and informative afternoon - Very nice experience with this Nostos-excursion. Due to some traffic we arrived just in time, but the lady we rang before held some tickets on the side so we surely could join in. Once on the boat they welcomed us in four languages and gave some information during the trip. The stop halfway for a quick swim was really refreshing and gave us some time to eat and drink. The prices there were really great!! Once on Spinalonga, we had the honour to have Dimitri as our (Dutch) guide. He really knows how to entertain, yet give very much information about Spinalonga. He's really passionate about guiding at the island, so we were very glad to join in with his enthusiasm. Really enjoyed it!

Great Trip - The trip to Spinalonga was lovely, attentive crew and beautiful views. The guide on the island which was part of the package was very informative and we learnt all about the island and leprosy.

Crete is worth a visit - It was an unforgettable holiday for us a nice hotel with a beautiful view, we booked a trip with Lake Crete VIP Tours which was totally great and what you should definitely do, you learn a lot about the island first hand, a very nice guide that has a lot to tell Conclusion, the trip was a great experience

Exceelent to bo on the sea and highly informative - The crew were very helpful, the trip was enjoyable and the time on Spinalonga very informative and also a sad feeling when you think how people lived in those harsh times Now I must definitely finish Hislop novel "The Island

Nice experience - Very nice exit! Departure by boat from Ágios Nikólaos. Guided tour and delivery of a small explanatory booklet. Arrival on Spinalonga 1h30 on site to walk on the island. Plan to pay 20€/adult on site.

On top! Full and cheap excursion, I recommend! - Excursion to the top, food service on board by expensive and good, sea swimming very very cool, really cheap for what is included in the excursion. A little lack of time for visiting the island though.

Beautiful island to visit - Absolutely lovely island to visit. The boat trip was lovely, however didn’t realise the sea swimming was off the back of the boat - it was fun. Was a 30 minute stop.

A n enjoyable afternoon - A lovely day out. The cruise ran efficiently. The sound system for the commentary was clear and the information was interesting. Views from the boat are spectacular, as is the island itself. Swimming stop was fun, even though the water is rather cold at this time of year. Perhaps another 30 minutes (up to 2 hours) on the island would have been better.

Spinalonga boat trip - I did this trip as a solo traveller. It was a nice experience but one I would only do once. I had no guide but there were information points at regular intervals. The 'ruins' are fairly modern, mainly from the 1930s but built on much older fortifications, which barely get a mention. The boat trip and scenery were very nice though
