Excellent trip. - Well organised trip. Great value for money. Spinalonga was amazing. There was enough time to explore the island before moving onto the beach bbq and swimming spot. Food was good too. Highly reccommend.

Great experience, well organized - Excellent experience ! After a 45 min. boat ride along the coast we reached Spinalonga for a 1:15 h visit. Entry fee of 8€ well worth it, even though the over 65 rate should have been 4€ ! For some reason the reduced rate applies only to EU citizens … the 16th century fortress is well preserved and the leper colony 1920-1951 is well documented. The trip continuous to a nice beach with swimming and a BBQ + 45 min ride back to Agios Nikolaos. All very well organized and very pleasant.

Very pleasant experience - well worthwhile - Well worth experience ! After a 45 Min Boat trip along the coast we stopped at Spinalonga for 1:15 hrs. Enogh time to visit the fortification and the "Lepros village". Very interesting, even though we were upset by the discrimination of non-EEC for the 50% discount to over 65. So the access to the site cost us €16 instead of €8. After Spinalonga an other 30 Min boat ride to a little (overcrowded) beach for a swimm stop in crystal clear water. Actually we could also swimm off the back of the boat, rather going on land. While swimming the crew prepared a BBQ lunch that was served during the return trip on the boat. Considering that there were about 300 people on board (I guessed), the service went very well ! Excellent experience !

Lovely island - We took the trip to the island which is amazing. It’s a beautiful spot and interesting history. The BBQ lunch is below average and literally chucked at you on the boat. The drinks on the boat cost a fortune and the island cafe prices ARE A RIP OFF.

Over crowded, terrible food and stressed tour guide - Boat was rammed, lots of noise over the tannoy. Swimming at the beach was busy as so many other boats, lunch was like school dinner, except you had to queue even longer! Tickets they given us were wrong, so we were given the wrong food, and when you explain that to the staff on the boat, they shrugged, and said there was no other option. A hey Actually if we had no food it would’ve been a better experience. It was not a barbecue. It was prepared food out of school dinner containers, queueing up on the boat was too busy and people getting very stressed about getting served and then finding somewhere to sit. Long queues to get on and off the boat down one walkway. If you have the option, get a smaller boat and make sure that it’s a barbecue, not prepared food. Don’t believe what you read on the pamphlet .

NYC Family - Without knowing the area prebooked this tour. It was a safe boat ride to Spinalonga, the lunch and swim session were average at best. If I could do it over I would coordinate with our resort to arrange a small group tour with a boat from a closer Port.

Don’t bother - Booked this trip not realising we’d have to pay separately for the entrance on Spinalonga, so we avoided the queues and headed to the cafe to enjoy a cool drink and then a paddle - the girl actually laughed when I commented about the €7 cost of a slush, I suppose it was sort of funny, after all they had a captive audience!! Boat left (almost on time) and we headed to a remote bay for a paddle, unfortunately, so did three other boats plus a few had trekked overland to get to the same secluded beach (I use the term beach loosely) Back on-board for a delicious piece of meat slapped on a plate with some coleslaw and a pear, mind you, fair to say the screech (powdered fruit juice) woke us up!!! Finally arrived back in port, a good 45 minutes late and disembarked safe in the knowledge that the lepers really didn’t deserve that cafe!!!

Unpleased trip - Too croudy on the boat, at Spinalonga and during the swimstop. Hundreds of tourists stopped at the same place at the same time. BBQ on the boat is not recommended at all. Because of so many people on the boat, you don't find a decent place to eat. We felt like being on a festival with thousands of people. I wouldn't recommend this trip. If I knew before I would have chosen an organisation with a smaller boat and no bbq.

Overcrowded multinational boat trip - Too many people on the boat Good visit to Spinalonga but better ways to go there People sleeping on benches occupying and some ‘reserving’ 2 or more seats Difficult to eat bbq on a tray Good stop for a swim Shaded area limited on boat V noisy

Very small beach full of rubbish with no shade - Awful, stopped at the tiny beach which from a distance looked beautiful but had a massive pile of smelly rubbish which I can only assume has been left by people like us! On boat trips! They were even nappies piled up! why the organisers of the trip don’t keep this beautiful beach clean beggars believe as it is not accessible by road We were packed on the smelly beach like sardines with flies and ants everywhere in the heat with no shade, waiting for our mediocre barbecue for a couple of hours Avoid, you can go to Spinalonga without having to endure this trip!
