- Agafay - If you are a Desert enthusiast and you are visiting Marrakech for a short time, but you see that it is not practical to journey to Sahara because it needs at least 3-days and almost 10 hours’ drive one way. Well, do not worry. Therefore, if it is not your cup of tea to make this big trip, there are other desert tours from Marrakech. Not a lot of people know about Agafay Desert, only 30 min from your hotel/Riad in Marrakech. To be honest you will not find the golden rolling sand dunes here (it is a stone desert) but you absolutely can have the secluded desert experience complete with stunning views of the High Atlas Mountains. In addition, it is closed enough to easily be a day trip from Marrakech.

1st formula : (Day-time) Desert, dromedary, quads and lunch.
Time Schedule:
Departure from Marrakech at 10:00 am, enjoying the passage to the lake (LalaTakarkoust) with a small break nearby. After driving for a short time among green agricultural fields, we will arrive to the Agafay desert around 13:00, where you enjoy a camel riding, quads or both of them before or after taking lunch either in a Berber house or in a Berber tent.
2nd formula :( Night-time) desert, Sunset camels with or without dinner.
Time Schedule:
Departure from Marrakech at 16:00 for a transfer to the Desert of Agafay to profit from panoramic sights of sunset with camel riding. N.B there is a possibility of having dinner under a Nomad tent or under the stars.
