Additional Information

We’ll fetch you from your Marrakech hotel or riad beginning at 4:00 p.m., initiating a thrilling minibus expedition to the Agafay desert.

An hour’s journey ushers us into the barren landscapes of the Atlas, eventually arriving at our camp for a distinctively memorable night. Once we arrive at the camp, a collection of haimas will greet us with a welcome tea.

Next, you’ll have the liberty to opt for a camel ride (additional charge), traversing through the Agafay’s dunes, or to linger at the camp, observing the sunset. Whichever option you choose, the desert’s marvels won’t fail to enchant you.

Further, we’ll assemble around a bonfire to savor a dinner, imbibed with authentic Moroccan flair, incorporating salads, a chicken tagine, couscous paired with vegetables, and a dessert. That’s not all, the evening will also resonate with an indigenous show featuring belly dancing, fire-eating, AND gnawa music….

Better than expected - I was pleasantly surprised with the installations , even the shared tent was very clean the sheets were clean, at dinner time everything was organised the food delicious, the people very nice and caring. The only thing to say is maybe during dinner i would prefer quiet music to actually enjoy it, not rhe full on screaming and dancing but anyway it was a great experience

Had a fab experience - Had a great time.fab views and photo opportunities. Food abit later in tbe eve for us but plenty entertainment good and traditional. We shared a large rent and was fine but you can have your own tents for double the cost. Definitely recommend for a fabulous experience and only 45 mins from marrakech. Thank you

Definitely do it - Something fun and worth doing . A night away in the desert with a bonfire plus entertainment and food, you can’t go wrong. Would recommend doing it in the warmer months tho because I did it in March (was hoping the weather would’ve been better) and it was really cold at night so be mindful of you decide to do it in the colder months. Only downside I found was the bed was very hard so I didn’t get a good night’s sleep.

Great authentic dessert experience - The overall experience was really great. The dancers and the singers bring in so much energy in a good authentic way. The surrounding area is beautiful, especially by night. The food was good. The only small things was that we booked a ' Deluxe tent ' and we ended up sleeping in a 'dorm tent' Which was fine in the end, but just not as expected. So the communication could be better on that part. But its definitely recommend to go there if you want a fun night out away from busy hectic Marrakech!

Good experience - Beautiful shows and locations. There are 3 swimming pools and it is possible (extra) to go on a camel or quad excursion (around 30 euros per person). It's not clear in the description, but all the comforts are there. Wifi, electrical sockets and blankets (we brought everything from home) thinking they weren't there. Don't expect delicious food like in a Riad, but at this price it's worth it!

VAN HAS NO AIR-COND!! - Stated picked up by air-conditioned vehicle, but unfortunately the van to and from desert was NOT air-conditioned at all! The weather was hot, dusty and polluted. It was really uncomfortable journey!

The term luxury needs to be revisited! - Very nice evening, it’s definitely an activity to do. As usual, Moroccans are angels Unfortunately we had wind. The tents do not have hot water and have moved a lot with the wind. We were disturbed in the evening and morning by other participants so we found little sleep! For a luxury camp I do not adhere to this term because we are far from luxury!!!

Agafay Desert evening with family - Top-notch setting and preparation for the evening. On the other hand, with children aged 12 and under I do not recommend it. Show and dinner times are not respected. The evening looked good but too late when there are children. To do as a couple, I recommend it

Moroccan medical club - As they say “it was an experience”. Not what we expected anyway. As tourist complex as possible, catering for around a hundred people, exclusively foreigners, for an evening which had nothing typical in a Moroccan version of the med club. Atmospheric entertainment with a belly dancer, a fire eater and singers who follow one another to produce a folkloric show before the eyes of happy tourists. Apart from the desert which has its charm, and again, which is not very far from homes, big disappointment with the rest of the support. Water leaking from all the taps (Marrakech was in drought), waste of food, pollution of the site.. If you want authenticity, clearly move on.
