Highlights
  • La Pause, Agafay Desert - Leave the bustling city of Marrakech behind and drive past lush vegetation, olive and orange orchards and through occasional villages. Off the tarmac and onto off road, the scenery is completely different - barren light brown plateaux, a true stone desert. The locals call it Agafay desert: this might as well be the Sahara as the feeling of solitude.
The Agafay desert is not a sand desert
  • but more sandstone and earthen plateau, traditional mud-built villages, dusty riverbeds are interspersed with spectacular sumptuous pasture and vegetation in springtime. There we can sample a tea with the locals and experience trekking by camel. The team will collect you at your riad / hotel in Marrakech. There is less than one-hour drive to reach the stony Agafay desert. There, your camels will be waiting for you to make a lovely ride around an amazing landscape in order to reach your final destination: a gorgeous panorama where you will have the chance to stop for tea with locals and enjoy the sunset from there.
After, we will drive you back to Marrakech at the end of your tour.

Passeio de Camelo no deserto - we had an amazing experience. since the moment Lamine picked us up he was very helpful and kind. he explained us how everything worked on the way to the agafay desert and made us feel comfortable through the whole time. the conversation was amazing and we had a very fluent and dynamic interaction! the camels, the views, the silence of the desert and the typical moroccan mint tea at the end were incredibly fulfilling. all of this and the hospitality of all the people involved, specially Lamine whose sense of humor and kindness made us feel like home, made this experience an unforgettable one. thank you so much.

The Perfect Desert Experience - This was THE best experience my mother and I had while in Morocco. A camel ride followed with a traditional Moroccan snack while watching the sunset in the desert. The guides were very attentive and made this trip absolutely unforgettable.
