Nestled between the ocean and the mountainous landscape, Taroudant offers a spectacular view of the Atlas and Anti-Atlas. Situated 81 km to the east of Agadir, Taroudant’s medieval charm, centered in a rich valley, is complimented by its renowned leather, wrought iron, and Berber silver jewellery craftsmanship. This ‘mini Marrakech’ opens the door to splendid mountainous routes of the hinterland, including the palm groves of Tiout. Tiout is a Berber village located 30 km from Taroudant, at the base of the Anti-Atlas. A mix of greenery and desert beauty, the panoramic view here is exceptional. A donkey ride is a great way to explore and inhale the freshness of the palm oasis.
