Paradise - Great day out, spectacular views, very helpful guide nothing too much for him. Pools are great jumping into the pools only for the brave, could be dangerous. Wear stout foot wear. Worth the money, a must do.

Awesome beauty - This trip was awesome, Hussain took us to see Paradise Valley. It was a walk down and up but totally worth it. He is a kind man giving sweets to the children and even bought food for the cats at the shop. The water is crystal clear and very cold. A beautiful place. The children in the valley were so nice, they came to see us leave. I hope this place becomes protected and only allows a couple of tours a day. The photos Hussain took of us are amazing. Thank you for a great memorable experience.

Fun day out in Paradise Valley - The views were great and we really enjoyed the walk along the path to the palm tree lined oasis. We had the opportunity to swim in the water but it was a bit too cold for me as it was December. The visit to local botanical gardens was interesting where we learned about the plants which make the oils and so on, but the products were overpriced. Friendly and enthusiastic driver/guide who really cares about the local community and pets. It was a fun day out and distraction from the beach.

Great day out, thanks Hassan - Great trip into the Atlas Mountains. Argan factory was interesting, free samples meant we all smelt sweet on the bus! Lovely Hassan, our driver, bought sweets for the children of the villages we drove through. The pool was icy cold but I’m glad this 60 something jumped in and showed the youngsters how! Then traditional tea and biscuits to sustain us. Top tip, travel in your swimsuit then you only need to change once on the narrow ledge behind a rock! Also, be realistic about your level of fitness for the trek to the pool, this is not for people unused to any exercise.

Great experience - Had a great day. Botanical garden and Argan oil bit was interesting with lots of samples so we all smelt fresher in the minibus after. Driving through the Berber villages gave a taste of their simple lifestyle. The trek through the forest was good, leading to the leap into the icy pool. Top tips, travel in swimwear then you only have to get changed once when there is only a narrow ledge behind a rock for privacy! Also, be realistic about your level of fitness for the hike, it is not for people unused to exercise!

Great scenery and experience - highly recommend - A really great experience and well worth it. Botanical garden and argon oil shop were interesting and the hike with swimming at the end were amazing. Beautiful scenery and a relatively challenging but enjoyable hike. A massive shout out to Hossain our tour guide. Not only is he fun, entertaining and looked after us all, but a wonderful individual who takes treats and food for the kids that live near the mountains. Really made the experience engaging and fun.

Nice Way to Spend a Morning - Botanic Garden visit not quite what I'm used to. Paradise Valley unfortunately failed to give me the wow factor but it is lovely. Water was too cold for me to consider jumping in. Our tour guide, Hassan, was fantastic.

Drive into the van - Spending a lot of time in a van is fine in itself, but a driver/guide with a nice story is nice. Our driver was silent like Holleeder

Paradise Valley Agadir - Paradise valley …….. well yes……. OK the good bits. Overall it was a good experience. The driver was excellent. On time, courteous . Knowledgable and polite. He took us up to the Argon factory where we learnt about Argon oil products etc. again interesting and contextual. The drive into the mountains was spectacular and from tamraght was short and manageable. Paradise valley was an a bit of a sham and an unexpected disappointment . Not as advertised and frankly a shoddy and anti paradise experience. The rubbish, donkeys and eating places were horrific……and really did not understand the fish feet spa at all…..and we never saw or experienced what a paradise toilet might be like…. However, We are glad we went, so not a one star, but really guys……either let it become a found paradise or modernise ( and sanitise) to the true altlas mountain paradise it should be. at the moment, it is not doing anything well . Noted the beginnings of the new pathway and architecturally interesting new restaurant at the top…. In summary, be prepared for the long difficult walk. Please don’t use the donkeys, Don’t stop at the first sign of the river, the pools you seek are another 15 mins walk up the valley……bring good boots and don’t be too shy slipping into you costume at the swimming holes. we wish you every good luck….. yes I did swim….. Lake Windermere is warmer…….x
