Best spa in Agadir - It was very nice, the lady that did the hammam for us was an angel, she put so much effort in it and she made sure we felt comfortable the whole time, you could tell she did it with love. Massage was really nice too, I felt refreshed and very relaxed after. Great experience, would DEFINITELY recommend.

Massage the Berber way! - We had a Berber massage & hammam here on our first day in Agadir and we certainly had a memorable time! We had to wait quite a while for pick up and then a further wait before the start of our treatment and again to be collected and taken back to our hotel so give yourself some buffer time if you have plans afterwards. The spa feels authentic but there is room for improvement, e.g. the light in our treatment room wasn’t working so the ladies used the torches from mobile phones during our treatment, and when they left they took them with them leaving us in total darkness. There was a lot of chatter outside the room while we were having our treatments which made them less relaxing and the ladies had to keep asking them to shush as you could hear everything through the curtain ‘door’. The scrubs were great and our skin felt silky smooth afterwards. The massages were vigorous and I did have to ask for mine to be softer as it was very intense at times but the lady listened and responded. We felt pretty good afterwards having had our knots fully worked out!

Ruined birthday - Ruined birthday We had high expectations of this Hammam, especially due to the many positive reviews, and were looking forward to a relaxing evening on the occasion of my wife's birthday. Unfortunately, our experience did not live up to these expectations in any way. • Delayed pickup: We were picked up more than 15 minutes later than agreed. Only at our request did we receive a response – but without specifying the exact arrival time. With the cold temperatures in February, waiting outside after sunset was very uncomfortable, especially as there was no excuse for the delay. • Unfriendly reception: The man at the reception was extremely unkind. He just sat next to us and watched football loudly on his phone. A relaxed hammam atmosphere was not given at all at the beginning. • Long waiting time in the hammam: After our arrival we had to wait over 40 minutes as the hammam was supposedly still being “cleaned”. Half the time we were given a face mask and placed in a very cold room without blankets – with our light clothing this was extremely uncomfortable. • Overbooking and shortened treatment: Shortly after we entered the Hammam, another customer left, indicating an overbooking. Our own hammam treatment was shortened and seemed hectic as obviously not enough time was planned. • Unprofessional massage: The ensuing “Berber” massage did not live up to expectations. It was very gentle and bore no resemblance to a traditional Berber massage. • Delayed return journey: After the treatment we had to wait a long time for our pick up. Due to all these delays, our planned birthday dinner was cancelled as it was already too late. Overall, this visit was a huge disappointment and ruined my wife's birthday. I hope management will take this feedback seriously and make appropriate improvements to provide a better experience for future guests.
