10/10 recommend! - Gary was a treat! The sights were superb, each kept getting better and better! While it was a long day (and we were happy we packed water and snacks!!!) we felt it was the perfect way to see everything in one shot. It was organized, smooth, and didn’t feel rushed in any of the locations despite there being so many of us. Also you MUST hold the koala, it was our favorite part (a small fee to do so but worthwhile)

A great tour - For us, three spots are wonderful: the sea lions bay; the admiral arch and the wonderful rocks. These wonderful sceneries are really catching our hearts. It’s worth the effort for getting there. We hope it could shorten the trip a bit. Also provide the information that people need to prepare some food for the long bus ride in the morning.

Wonderful driver-guide - Our guide on the Island was a local lady, she share her passion for the island, infos about daily life in the island, the history, wildlife etc …. Wonderful The only down side, running on each site. I would happily have skipped the wildlife park for longer stay at remarkable rocks .

Kangaroo Island - a unique journey that will reward your commitment of time and endurance. - This was a very long journey for a day trip and with a lot of territory to traverse, the time to stop and explore locations was limited. Nevertheless the opportunity to see such a remote place and engage with wildlife was a very special experience. Our driver was exceptional in her knowledge, skill and obvious dedication to protecting this unique sanctuary.

More details needed to provide for such a long day trip - I want to say all staff involved in this tour are excellent. The reason I gave 3 stars is there’s not enough information for tourists to prepare such a long day trip. For example, from hotel being picked up to the Ferry, it took at least two hours for the bus ride. People being picked up as early as 6 am, without food or drinks stop during the bus ride… it would be nice to know beforehand, so we can fully prepared.

Not for the feint hearted - This trip is not for the feint hearted! A 16 hour trip starting at 6.30am-10.30pm, with 12-13 hours of the trip sitting on a coach or ferry. The sites you see are great BUT you are only visiting for 25-30 minutes which goes very quickly - the driver is on a schedule and it feels more like an army exercise rather than a nice, holiday tour. You therefore have to decide whether those sites are worth visiting when you're travelling for so long. Having slept on this review, i do NOT think it is. If you feel like Kangaroo island isn't a major priority to visit, then don't go as it wont be life changing. If you absolutely think it's a must do in your life, be prepared for disappointment. In my opinion, spending 5 minutes with kangaroos on kangaroo island is absolutely criminal and this is all down to the structure and planning of the day. The tour company needs a serious rethink about how to plan this and make it easier for tourists to get the most out of it. My group were so happy to be in the wildlife park, only to be rushed through...massively disappointed considering what we paid. Finally, if you do decide to go, make sure you take sea sickness tablets with you as the water was very choppy on the day and people were sea sick. A lady actually fainted and had to go hospital. I gave this review 2 stars based on the long day, the times we spent on the coach and the lack of time spent at certain places such as seal bay and the wildlife park which was not enough! Book with caution!!!
