Excellent Short Trip - Adelaide to Melbourne - The itinerary for this trip is fantastic, and we highly recommend it for anyone traveling from Adelaide to Melbourne (or vice versa). A great way to incorporate both the Great Ocean Road and a visit to the Grampians National Park, while seeing part of the Australian landscape and small towns along the way! James was our tour guide and really made the whole trip! He engaged us from start to finish with trivia, information, conversation, BBQ skills, and loads of music – all with his Aussie charm serving as glue across our diverse group of 14. He was extremely attentive to everyone’s needs, and ensured we had everything we needed along the way – from bathroom stops to ordering food and everything in between – he was the consummate tour guide and an absolute pro with all of us. You’ll be lucky if you find him as your guide and companion!!! Logistically, hotels were clean. The food was good (2 dinners, 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch). Driving was safe. Cannot recommend this trip more as an alternative from getting to point B from point A!

Amazing 3 days with exceptional guiding - This trip was simply AMAZING! Our tour guide Jdawg was just the BEST, she is exceptional! Such a lovely person, really well organised, knowing lots of stories and facts about wildlife and all the places we went to. She is absolutely focused on giving everyone a wonderful experience with lots of nice surprises on the way, always looking after each guest and the need of the group. The trip itself was planned well, lots of different things to see, perfect combination of driving, hiking, enjoying. Accommodation was really good and food was amazing. Much better than with any other trip I did during my 7 week travels in Australia.

South Australia - Good overview of different environments in Australia - desert, rainforest, coast line. Great to see animals in the wild rather than a zoo.

An amazing road trip with so much to see and do - We booked this trip as it offered a great way to travel between Adelaide and Melbourne while also being able to see some interesting places en route. The trip didn't disappoint. We were a small group due to a last minute cancellation of a larger group which made this trip all the more special as we had a bit more time at the various stops. Our guide was the awesome Janet (J Dog) who, from start to finish, looked after us all so well. Her knowledge of the places we visited and her upbeat outlook on life meant we learned of the history and significance of the different places we visited and much more. She was also very accommodating to the needs of the group. An absolute highlight for us was the hike on day 2 up to the Pinnacle in the grampians. This was a demanding hike, but it was one of the main reasons we booked this particular tour. We hiked in the early morning light and reached the Pinnacle as the sun was rising in the sky. The views were spectacular and being able to hike before the crowds made it extra special. Loch Ard and the Apostles also didn't disappoint and it was lovely to explore them before the other tour buses arrived. We really appreciated the regular pit stops to stretch our legs, etc and opportunity to walk around different points of interest. This is a budget tour, but the accomodation on both nights were clean and quiet and had what we needed for a good night's sleep. This whole trip exceeded our expectations and we are so glad we had J Dog as our guide!
