• Phillip Island Nature Parks - Koala Reserve - At the Koala Conservation Centre on Phillip Island, visitors have 45 minutes to explore the verdant surroundings and walk along the elevated boardwalks that meander through the treetops. Here, guests can observe koalas in their natural environment, nestled in the eucalyptus trees. The knowledgeable staff offer fascinating insights into the conservation efforts that protect these cherished animals. This peaceful and educational experience provides excellent photo opportunities and a chance to appreciate Australia’s wildlife.
• Cape Woolamai - Phillip Island has a population of around 15,000, which increases during peak tourist seasons. The main settlements include Cape Woolamai, New Haven, and Cowes. The stop at Cape Woolamai beach is seasonal, weather permitting, and is most popular during the summer.
• Cowes - In the summer, there is often time to explore the coastal town of Cowes. Nestled alongside the tranquil Westernport Bay, this town is named after Cowes on the Isle of Wight. It offers beautiful seaside views, unique shops to explore, and numerous delightful restaurants. This stop is limited in winter due to shorter daylight hours.
• The Nobbies Centre - The next stop is the Nobbies Rocks, where visitors can stroll along the boardwalks to view the rocky coastline and spot penguins nesting in their burrows. As the penguins return to their burrows, ample time is provided to savor the experience before heading back.
