Incredible - What a fabulous trip and a great way to explore The Grampians and Great Coast Road. Misty, our guide, was amazing. She was so knowledgeable and enthusiast that the time passed so quickly. We were a group of mixed ages that melded together assisted by Misty. We experienced and saw so much in its natural environment.

Adelaide to Melbourne bus via Grampians - I didn’t know what to expect but was pleased how much we did and saw. Lots of breaks to get off the bus. We stopped in the middle of the Grampian mountains and had opportunities for hikes and overlook walks. Lots of kangaroo in Halls Gap, a nice town and easy to walk to. We saw koalas and emus the next day in a wildlife reserve. Great Thai food in Warranambool. Enjoyed the hike in the Mabel Gully Rainforest. The Loch Ord Gorge was spectacular. I liked it better than the 12 Apostles. Chris was a terrific tour guide; he provided just the right amount of detail to help us appreciate what we were seeing. The bus seats were comfortable. Interesting and very international passengers, most travelling solo. All ages.

Wonderful Experience - We’re so glad we took this trip by bus rather than flying from Adelaide to Melbourne. The sheer variety of physical landscapes was stunning: mountains, rock pools, tidal beach, cliffs and rainforests were all experienced. Janet (JDog), our guide was wonderful; she was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Her playlist for the bus was also great. I have to admit that I was concerned about the accommodations and meals after reading previous reviews. I’m not sure what others were expecting , but we were pleasantly surprised. Both hotels had comfy beds with crisp, clean sheets. Sure the rooms were dated, but the basics were fine and we knew we weren’t paying enough to stay at the Ritz. Those that chose the hostel option were treated to a lovely lodge like setting. There was more than enough food at the breakfasts and dinner, and I thought there was a pretty good variety for vegetarians. I got the general consensus that our group all had a great time.

An exceptionally fun and informative experience - Kangaroos, koalas, kookaburras, penguins, stunning scenery—taking this trip is one of the best decisions we’ve made during our month in Australia. The enthusiasm of our guide, J-Dog was infectious and her knowledge of the landscape, wildlife, and history of Victoria was exceptional. This tour is an infinitely better way to see these sights than multiple out and back trips to each place

Great trip! - Had a fabulous 3 day trip with Chrisso leading us all. Despite changeable weather the tour was brilliant and Chrisso was a fantastic host. Would definitely recommend.

Adelaide to Melbourne Trip - Autopia Tours - This trip was immense and will certainly be a part of my 5-week trip to Aus that I won't forget. Immediately, the guide (Jordan) got everyone talking to each other, which helped build good relationships over the 3 days. The places that we visited were really interesting and just what I wanted to see from the area. The Grampians and Tower Hill were my favourites. Jordan's general knowledge, including that of the area itself was second to none and he made us feel that we could ask anything. He also made sure our welfare was not reprimanded in any way; there were ample toilet and refreshment stops given at all times. I would not hesitate in recommending this tour to anyone visiting the area.

The only way to travel Adelaide to Melbourne - Amazing scenery, amazing trip. Our guide Janet was passionate about this land we were travelling and was focussed on the customer experience. Incredibly knowledgeable and fun she was the perfect guide. I expected a bus ride from one place to another with sights pointed out on the way. Instead I was immersed in the wonders of this land, taken to places I had never seen and saw the familiar with new eyes.

Great trip and tour guide - Really enjoyed the three-day tour. Saw lots of beautiful - and very varied - places and plenty of wildlife too. Janet was a wonderful organiser and guide, cheerful throughout and very responsive to the group's interests. Daniel, in training, seems set to be a great guide too. Thanks again both.

Good overall but first night motel room not fit for purpose. - A good overall tour taking in the highlights of the two areas but let down by the standard of the motel room at Halls Gap and having to walk from the motel room to the inferior meals provided at the YHA further along a busy road. The motel room was grubby and had a considerable amount of black mould in the bathroom which is a health hazard. And for which we had paid a substantial premium on top of the basic cost of the trip. We consider this to be an unacceptable standard and should NOT have been let in this condition. Photos of the black mould are available.

Should be Shown as a Low Budget Hiking Tour - The Great Ocean road part was incredible!! I highly recommend a tour there but the remainder of the tour was not what I expected, very disappointing. The tour guide was late to pick me up & was late on most pickup times. I had come from a 19 day tour in New Zealand, where water was provided on the bus. This tour had no water, including having only tap water at the hostel. The next days were hiking, staying in Very low budget motels, too far away to walk anywhere. The first breakfast was fine at a local restaurant, dinner & next breakfast at a hostile!! Really, gross! One women had a broken knee cap & didn't want to hike much & I didn't want to go on long hikes, it was very hot & humid. We were both disgusted with the hikes, accommodations & the tour itself. If you are a student used to hostels, this tour is for you!
