Dorze Village - Take a morning flight to Arba Minch, and upon arrival, visit the mountain village of Chencha, situated on the southwestern escarpment of the Great Rift Valley, which extends from north to south all the way to Mozambique. This is the home of the Dorze people. Once renowned warriors in the region, the Dorze are now celebrated cotton weavers, known for their tall, beehive-shaped, bamboo-woven dwellings, which are among the most unique structures in Africa. Relish the stunning views along the way and the sunset at the lodge overlooking the jungle and the Chamo and Abaya lakes.

Lake Chamo – Arba Minch

Chamo Lake - In the morning, enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Chamo to observe some of Africa’s largest crocodiles, hippopotamuses, and many beautiful aquatic birds, including the charming Kingfisher, African fish eagle, and pelicans.

In the afternoon, take a walking tour around the headquarters of Nechi Sar National Park.

Arba Minch– Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa - Today, fly back to Addis Ababa. Upon arrival, explore the city by visiting the National Museum (home to the famous hominid fossil, “Lucy”), Entoto Mountain, the largest open-air market called Merkato, and one of the major Orthodox Churches. Experience a vibrant blend of modern and traditional city life. Enjoy a farewell dinner at one of the finest traditional restaurants in Addis, where you can savor a variety of Ethiopian dishes and watch folkloric dancers representing the Ethiopian people.
