A Journey Through Time and Nature

As a wildlife photographer with a deep love for Africa, I am always on the lookout for experiences that blend history, culture, and the natural world. The Debre Libanos Monastery and Portuguese Bridge tour promised just that, and it did not disappoint. The journey began with a drive north of Addis Ababa, through undulating mountain ranges that seemed to stretch endlessly into the horizon. Our final stop was at the St George Brewery, the oldest in Addis Ababa, where we sampled some of the finest local beers. The rich flavors and unique brewing techniques were a testament to Ethiopia’s vibrant culinary culture. As I sipped my beer, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the opportunity to experience such a diverse and enriching journey.

Reflecting on the day, I realized that this tour was more than just a sightseeing trip. It was a journey through time, a chance to connect with the past and present of Ethiopia in a meaningful way.
