Without a doubt, he was our favorite tour guide - We enjoyed spending the day in Addis Ababa with our guide Tesfaw! The city is amazing and the guide had such a warm personality. Thankfully, the tour was flexible so we were able to stay at certain locations longer if we wanted to, which we appreciated. Tesfaw went out of his way to teach us important aspects of Ethiopian culture and his English is perfect! It felt like walking around with a family member. Our stay in Addis was actually 11 days total and we booked with 4 different tour companies but I highly recommend taking this tour and asking for Tesfaw. He seems to know more information than the others. Even though we didn’t have enough time to travel to Lalibela, we’re convinced to come back. We will be returning next year (or the year after) to take the Northern Ethiopia tour with this company and hope it'll be with our same guide.

If you happen to be in Addis Ababa... - <p>If you happen to be in Addis Ababa for a long layover, do consider taking this tour. Our guide and driver were fantastic. The highlights include going to a traditional coffee shop and sampling the local flavors, and seeing the 3.2 million year old bones of Lucy one of humanities oldest skeletons. The walk through the market was an experience, but our guide was always close by to make sure we didn't lose our way in the narrow alleys or crowds. The sign at the airport says that Addis is The World's Best Tourist Destination yet I'm not sure visiting this city is worth making a special trip to Ethiopia, but if you are here for some other reason, this tour is a great way to see and experience the sites, sounds, smell, and tastes of the city.</p>

I had a 16 hour lay-over in Addis... - <p>I had a 16 hour lay-over in Addis Ababa on my way to South Africa, so I booked a day tour. It was the best way to spend this lay-over! The guide met me at the airport. He then took me to the hotel that the airline gave me for the lay-over to help me check in. Then we began on our day tour. I was able to decide where we went, and he was extremely informative. I could not recommend this tour or company enough! Absolutely loved it!</p>

Itallian speaking 1 day tour Addis Abeba - I'm a travel agent of a senior solo traveller. I had to pay for 2 people since it was not possible to have an italian speaking tour for 1 day in Addis Abeba just for 1 pax. The day before I had been contacted by an english speaking guide who did not know we need an italian speaking guide. The problem had been fixed but the italian speaking guide found at the very last moment spoke just an avarage italian. I think the price paid doens not worth the service obtained.
