Everything beautiful all at once! MUST MUST EXPERIENCE THIS! - What a wonderful tour! Timely pickup to start! We drove for about two hours from Cantonment to the Nkinkyim Museum and enjoyed the scenic route while witnessing a true taste of daily life in Ghana ….with street vendors peddling their wares. The conversation with our host drover was riveting and informative. The museum is amazing and you are greeted with towering art. Our guide who is also a griot by tradition shared the stories behind each installation. We completed our private tour after about 1.5 hours and rang the ceremonial bell to signal our departure. I cannot wait to see the completed museum. We then arrived in PramPram at the African Ancenstral Wall! What a gift of self love! Not only was the founder and creator of the wall immensely knowledgeable and inspirational but his wife, who co-manages the restaurant served up the most delicious meal I have had in Ghana. Roasted fish with greens and yam. The hibiscus drink was delicious and not for the faint of heart. I hope you can handle your ginger people! The onsite restaurant was so tastefully decorated. Vibrant colors and patterns on table cloths and custom bamboo seating! Birds enjoyed the flowers and trees …. while we enjoyed our meal with a view of the ocean in the distance. There were so many wonderful sensations. I felt like I was at home with this family of pioneers. The owner’s son was an Impressive teenager who provided information about life and contributions of each historical figure on the wall without blinking an eye. Most of these people of black history and culture were familiar but some unfamiliar. I learned so much! The owner is building a gorgeous library to impart even greater knowledge to the public. I MUST go back to see the new installations by the artists but I have to admit .. getting another taste of that grilled fish is just as motivating a reason to return. It was an unforgettable and beautiful day! My only wish was that I had more time to be at home! Thank you guys so much for making this trip so memorable! Hope to see you again soon! Run to this tour friends ….don’t walk!

Interesting experience - Interesting experience Very interesting museum about slavery and discrimination against Africans. A short video showing discrimination and an interview with the artist of the sculptures is followed by a guided tour. The sculptures represent real slaves. The place has an atypical atmosphere and a closer look at the feelings of people who went through slavery historically or in the 21st century (modern slavery).I definitely recommend seeing.

Powerful & Moving Art Experience - Such a powerfully moving outdoor art experience as a tribute to the slaves. I appreciate learning about Kwame’s work and look forward to returning in a year and seeing the progress as they continue to grow their exhibition with more sculptures. I also enjoyed the art therapy session drumming with Seyram.

Must See! - The Nkyinkyim Museum tour was the absolute highlight of my trip! The artwork is breathtaking and powerfully moving - truly one of the most impactful museums I've ever visited. My guide Isaac was excellent, and the museum guide was both incredibly knowledgeable and skilled at photography. For anyone interested in culture, art, history, or exploring their roots, this is an absolute must-see in Accra! By the way, I felt completely safe as a female solo traveler.

Good experience - This was a great experience but the tour was very short and too costly. The tour guide was very kind, knowledgeable, accommodating, and professional. Please consider adding more to the tour or at least include lunch.
