Highlights
- Parque Natural da Ribeira dos Caldeirões - This excursion takes place in Parque Natural da Ribeira dos Caldeirões, one of the most extraordinary places in the northeastern part of the island of São Miguel (+/- 45 minute drive away from the city of Ponta Delgada). Upon arrival, we will proceed with the distribution of your personal equipment and then set off on short walk of ~ 15min to our first stop where we will have our first safety briefing.
We will then continue on a short scramble uphill where we will then stop for our second safety briefing, where we will show you how to rappel before continuing onwards and upwards for another ~10min to the start of the canyon where the fun will begin!
After reaching the top of the canyon you will start the second part of your adventure. You can expect several jumps (between 2 and 7 meters in height), all optional, a natural slide and some abseils (between 5 and 15m in height). We will walk back along our initial path to the starting point.
NOTE:
– The exact itinerary including jumps, abseils and other techniques will depend on local conditions and seasons. The terrain, landscape and flow of the stream normally change throughout the year.

Best Experience in the Azores - One of the best tours we have ever taken Bruno , Diego , and Teresa were the best professional, kind, helpful and patient a few hours sliding down canyons going through waterfalls and repelling was tremendous fun

Fantastic Experience - Exciting tour, great guides ... a fantastic experience.
The pick-up location was just few steps away from the cruise terminal in Ponta Delgarda.
The guides did a fantastic job and told us a few things about the island and its inhabitants during the drive to the waterfall.

A M A Z I N G! - This was an amazing experience, perfect to be in contact with nature, to have fun and to dive in the natural springs and waterfalls.
A lot of sliding, jumping and laughing.

Had a Blast! - Had SO much fun on this tour! First off, the location is absolutely stunning. Our guides were so kind, funny, and always made sure we were safe. Great variety of repelling, zip lining, cliff jumping, and sliding. For those who were uncomfortable with any of the activities, the guides (and group) were always encouraging no matter what. Also, bonus, you get free photos/videos with your ticket purchase.

Super fun! - Originally planned to do coasteering, had to pivot due to ocean swells. Canyoning was AWESOME!! So fun, challenging, exhilarating. Our guides were professional, funny, encouraging and overall excellent. My kids are 12 and 14-not sure I’d bring a child much younger than 10 on this trip. It’s not hard, but definitely adventurous and physical in some parts. I’d go again!

Greatest Canyoning Experience - Our experience was so amazing. Our tour guide Joao was very interacting, and he made the trip so intriguing. While we were jumping I unfortunately lost my GoPro in one of the waterfalls. Joao and his team did everything they could to find the GoPro. They looked for a week, and eventually found it. They even went to the extent to drop off the GoPro at the airport for us. Their customer service was excellent. Would recommend them to anyone who wants to have a fun and very interactive canyoning trip.
