He was patient with us throughout the Accra and Cape coast tour and gave us all the good suggestions. He showed us the castles and the Cape coast city. He made us taste almost all the local food in Ghana. Thank you Sibertours for making our stay in Ghana a lovely one.

Unforgettable 3-Day Family Tour with SiBerTours – Safe, Fun & Educational! - Our family of five recently had an incredible 3-day tour of Accra, Cape Coast, and Assin Manso with SiBerTours, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. As parents, our main concerns were safety, comfort, and an engaging itinerary that would be fun and educational for our kids. SiBerTours delivered all that and more!
Smooth Pick-Up & Comfortable Travel
One of the biggest advantages of booking with SiBerTours is their flexible pick-up service from anywhere in Ghana. Since we were coming from Kumasi, we didn’t have to stress about transportation—our guide, Kwadwo Berchie, arranged everything and ensured we had a smooth and comfortable ride to Accra.
The vehicle was spacious, air-conditioned, and very comfortable, making the journey enjoyable, even for our youngest child (6 years old). Bottled water and snacks were provided, which was a thoughtful touch.
Day 1: Exploring Accra – A Blend of Culture & History
We kicked off the tour with some of Accra’s most famous landmarks:
• Independence Square – A great place for photos and an introduction to Ghana’s journey to independence.
• Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum – Learning about Ghana’s first president was both inspiring and informative.
• W.E.B. Du Bois Center – The tour here gave us deep insight into Pan-Africanism and the global Black movement.
• Makola Market – A lively market experience where we got to see local traders in action and even bought a few souvenirs.
• Jamestown – The lighthouse and colorful murals were a highlight for the kids, and our guide shared stories about the area’s colonial history.
After a full day of exploration, we enjoyed a delicious Ghanaian dinner before heading to our hotel for the night.
Day 2: Cape Coast & Assin Manso – A Deep Dive Into History
The second day took us on an emotional journey through Ghana’s rich and painful history.
Cape Coast Castle
Visiting Cape Coast Castle was a powerful and emotional experience. Walking through the dungeons and seeing the infamous “Door of No Return” was deeply moving. Our guide was sensitive and detailed, ensuring that our children understood the history in an age-appropriate way.
Elmina Castle
Next, we visited Elmina Castle, another significant site in Ghana’s history. The contrast between its beauty and its tragic past was overwhelming, and we left with a greater appreciation of the resilience of our ancestors.
Assin Manso – The Final Resting Place of the Slaves
The most touching part of our trip was our visit to Assin Manso, where enslaved Africans took their last bath before being transported to the coast. The Slave River was hauntingly peaceful, and standing there, we could almost hear the echoes of the past. The memorial site was well-maintained and deeply meaningful, leaving us with an unforgettable experience.
After such an emotional day, we had a relaxing beachfront lunch, where the kids enjoyed playing in the sand while we reflected on what we had learned.
Day 3: Adventure at Kakum National Park & Crocodile Experience
The final day was all about adventure and nature!
Kakum National Park
We arrived at Kakum National Park early in the morning, ready to take on the famous canopy walkway. Walking across the suspension bridges high above the trees was thrilling! Even our youngest was brave enough to cross, and the views of the rainforest were breathtaking.
Hans Cottage Botel – Crocodile Encounter!
Before heading back to Accra, we stopped at Hans Cottage Botel, where we saw live crocodiles up close! The kids were fascinated, and with the guide’s help, we even got to touch a crocodile (safely, of course!).
Final Thoughts – Why SiBerTours Is the Best Choice for Families
• Safety First – We felt completely safe at all times. The tour was well-organized, and our guide ensured our family’s comfort.
• Flexible Pick-Up – The fact that SiBerTours can pick you up from anywhere in Ghana makes traveling so much easier for families.
• Kid-Friendly Itinerary – The tour was well-paced, balancing education and fun to keep the kids engaged.
• Expert Guide – Kwadwo Berchie was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. His passion for Ghana’s history and culture made the tour even more meaningful.

My 3-Day Accra and Cape Coast Tour Experience with SiBerTours - I recently had the opportunity to go on a 3-day tour with SiBerTours, covering Accra and Cape Coast, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I booked the tour until the final drop-off, everything was well-organized, informative, and enjoyable.
Day 1: Exploring Accra
The tour started in Accra, where I was picked up in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. My tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and well-prepared to answer all my questions about the city. We visited several major landmarks, including:
• Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum – A deep dive into Ghana’s independence history and the legacy of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
• Independence Square – A must-visit place to understand Ghana’s freedom struggle and national pride.
• W.E.B. Du Bois Center – Learning about the contributions of W.E.B. Du Bois to Pan-Africanism was truly inspiring.
• Makola Market – A vibrant and busy marketplace where I got to see everyday life in Accra and even buy a few souvenirs.
• Jamestown – A mix of history, culture, and stunning coastal views. The lighthouse and colorful streets were great for photos.
The day ended with a delicious Ghanaian meal at a local restaurant, where I had jollof rice with grilled tilapia. It was a perfect way to wrap up the first day.
Day 2: Journey to Cape Coast
The second day started with an early morning drive to Cape Coast. The journey itself was smooth, with a few stops along the way to stretch, take photos, and enjoy the scenery.
Our first stop in Cape Coast was the Cape Coast Castle. Walking through the dungeons and hearing the harrowing stories of the transatlantic slave trade was an emotional and eye-opening experience. The guide at the castle was very detailed, making the history come alive.
Next, we visited Elmina Castle, another historic site with breathtaking ocean views. Seeing the contrast between the beauty of the place and its dark past was a powerful experience.
After a heavy history lesson, we took a break and had a refreshing meal at a beachfront restaurant. The seafood was fresh, and the atmosphere was perfect for relaxation.
Day 3: Kakum National Park & Return to Accra
On the final day, we visited Kakum National Park, home to Ghana’s famous canopy walkway. Walking high above the trees was both thrilling and a bit nerve-wracking, but the view was absolutely worth it. The lush greenery and sounds of nature made it one of the highlights of the trip.
Before heading back to Accra, we stopped at Hans Cottage Botel, where I got to see crocodiles up close! It was a fun and unique experience, and I even took pictures standing next to one (with a guide’s supervision, of course!).
The drive back to Accra was smooth, and we arrived just in time to catch the sunset over the city.
Final Thoughts
This 3-day tour with SiBerTours was well worth it. The organization, the guides’ knowledge, and the smooth transportation made the experience stress-free and enjoyable. Whether you’re visiting Ghana for the first time or just want to explore more of the country, I highly recommend SiBerTours for a well-planned and insightful tour.
