The Municipal Market and its enigmatic ‘witchcraft market’ are a true revelation, offering an engrossing array of goods such as dry items, household goods, exquisite flowers, sweets, live roosters, fresh produce, and much more. You’ll come across many stalls that sell health care products - a fusion of herbal remedies and Santeria-esque spells and prayers to saints. Be prepared to encounter a stall housing a cage of large live insects, the purpose of which you might not want to inquire about.

Amazing!! - We had a great time on the "of the beaten path" tour. Visiting to cookie and ice cream factories was a treat. The market visit was amazing with the abundance of fruits and vegetables and not to be forgotten, the amazing views of the city and the bay. Topping it off with a visit to the divers and lunch at the beach. An amazing day that would not have been possible with our driver Rudy and our guides Pancho and Maria.

A Great day at a great price - Very small group. Nice transport. Excellent guide with great local knowledge and good English. Very prompt pick-up at my hotel. Great day seeing all the highlights at a very reasonable price. Recommended a great place for lunch which was cheap, good and with a nice view. The turtle babies were great as were the divers and the chapel. Also looked around the old city seeing the mural and the various parts of town. Some great views were part of the experience. Finished it off with an email containing photos and a video of my trip. Hard to imagine how it could be better for the money. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience - I got the most wonderful experience with Rudy and his team. I have went on two trips with them over the weekend. This tour was taking us to major sight viewing points in the city. The cliff diver show is a must go. The view is magnificent. The divers are doing a great job. I have also learned a lot Mexican culture from our tour guide. They have been extremely nice and patient during the whole trip, answering a lot of our questions😊Quite enjoyable and have quite a lot fun. I would like to go with them again next time. I definitely would recommend them to my friends or any of you who’d like to explore the city.

Ask for Jose Mario y Jesus. - These days Acapulco is often viewed as a spring break destination where parties break out on the beach and alcohol can flow until the sun rises. The "Off The Beaten Path" Tour is a reminder of what truly makes the destination unqiue. Jose and Jesus use their personal experiences to bridge a gap between the city's hayday to it's vibrant natural beauty and it's inhabitants. Worth booking if you are interested in learning about the true Acapulco.

Highlights in Acapulco safe and emotional - We had a great day in history, Sanssoucci and Flamingo hotel, but also visited a crocodile farm and could releas turtels into the Pacific, very emotional. Afterwards we had dinner in a native restaurant with cookonut drink and special food from the fire. At night we haf dinner in front of the clipper jumpers. Over all this was my Highlight trip day in tree months from Vancouver to Huatulco. I will never forget it and thanks very much to our tour guide Mario, Jesus and his Crew

Above and Beyond! - I booked a group tour to see the famous Acapulco Cliff Divers but I ended up getting a private tour with a fabulous guide: Mario. He picked me up from my hotel and shared his knowledge and insights on the city as we made our way to the show. Mario took care of everything and also snapped some photos for me along the way, which was helpful because I was traveling solo. He was kind and polite to not only me, but all the people we came in contact with. It was also helpful that his English was great, because my Spanish is not. On the ride back, I told Mario that there was another tour I wanted to do the next morning, but it was full and I would be leaving that following evening. To my surprise, Mario made a call and was able to book me a 6-hour private tour and even dropped me off at the airport for my flight after and at a very reasonable cost. Thanks to Mario and this tour company, I was able to see so much of what Acapulco had to offer, from helping a baby turtle make its first trip to the sea to delicious food at a beautiful beach. It was a wonderful way to spend my last day.

Excellent - Safe and Fun - Mario and Jesus were great on this tour. Things were a little more difficult due to the COVID situation, but we definitely had a full and enjoyable day. They did a great job getting a bit off the beaten track and showing us some more everyday parts of Acapulco. They both spoke english very well, and the van was nice. At no point did we feel unsafe. The people of Acapulco were overall much better about observing COVID precautions than people in the US. I highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to get a good look at the whole city of Acapulco and get a bit out of the resort areas.

City tour of Acapulco - This was a private tour for a group off 8. Rudy picked us up at the pier in a very spacious, air conditioned van. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. We had a lovely tour of the city which included a chance to see the world famous cliff divers from a location he chose and which afforded us a great view. Rudy also took photos of our group which were sent to us the next day. He is an excellent guide. We would highly recommended him to anyone considering a visit to Acapulco.
