Simply incredible! - Step away from those boats crowded with other tourists and step into an environmentally friendly research and observation vessel that only takes about 12 people, two crew (and a crew little dog) We went on the 12:30 sailing and though the departure was late apologies were freely given. We were also told that we may be likely not to see pilot whales as they were some 7-10 miles away in choppy seas and were kindly given the option to cancel. No one did and everyone was delighted that they didn’t. Mercedes, Matt and Shiny (the dog) were our crew and with the exception of the dog all were marine biologists who were passionate about the mammals that we we about to see. They were also prepared to share their exceptional knowledge with us and they did so easily and without using confusing technical language. Our sailing on the only solar powered electric vessel in the Canaries meant that there was minimal disruption to the mammals that we saw and the waters that we passed through meaning that it is by far the most ecologically friendly way to see whales and dolphins on Tenerife. If you care about the environment and want to see these beautiful mammals then this really is the only way to do it. It is worth every extra penny and it is clear that the money generated is used in research and conservation. Our sailing lasted over 2.5 hours and we rotated location whilst on the vessel so everyone could get some shade as well as being able to sit at the front. Whilst we didn’t see any whales we were fortunate enough to see a number of pods of bottle nose dolphins who because of the method of propulsion came close to the vessel. We we also very luck that Mercedes and Matt managed to find a number of pods which did not have any other ships around them meaning that we got to spend so much more time watching them in their natural habitat than we may have otherwise done. Light snacks and refreshments were provided free of charge along with photos be taken during the sailing and being emailed free of charge to us. I genuinely can find nothing to fault this exceptional experience on and we were so lucky to see so many dolphins. It was a joy!

For anyone who respects nature , this tour is a must do if want to go whale watching! - We highly recommend this whale watching tour. If you are interested in the wellbeing of animals and nature, and not just take it as an "attraction" , please pay a bit more and let these knowledgeable people take you on board! Boat - beautiful, comfortable, hybrid (with PV!) , and the captain using the electric engine as much as possible Guides- Matt, our guide was a marine biologist and an ocean enthusiast , and also very attentive to anything we might need. Snacks&drinks -super nice touch, organic as well It was an amazing experience and we saw plenty of whales and turtles, that seem to prefer this clean boat to any other. Thank you!

Friendly, knowledgeable and environmentally aware - We were incredibly lucky to have a very calm sea for our trip. The crew, Laura and Mercedes were extremely welcoming and knowledgeable about the wildlife and the sea. We saw turtles, dolphins and pilot whales. The boat is great, with capacity for 8 passengers. The welfare of the wildlife is paramount on this trip, which is why we chose it. The boat has an electric motor so it can be quiet around the whales, and it doesn't approach them, they approached us which made it all the more special. There is no tearing round the bay in a speedboat or afternoon drinking sessions which was perfect. We even stopped to pick up some plastic out the ocean which is a small gesture but every little counts!!! Thank you for showing us these amazing creatures!!

Amazing 🐬 tour - This trip was amazing. If you want to see dolphins 🐬 and do it with someone who knows her wildlife, Mercedes is the one. Today she had Monica a student to help in every way we needed. The boat 🛥️ takes 8 persons plus crew so it is nice and easy.. The dolphins and whale watching are as close as you are allowed without stressing the beautiful animals with a lot of photo options because of the small number of people on the boat. We’ll gladly recommend WWET and we love to go again on our next visit at Tenerife.

Tour by experts researching whales and dolphins - A brilliant experience done by marine experts. Not rated on Tripadvisor probably because you can't book via TripAdvisor. Book directly. Small group - max 12, you get to see and hear whales and dolphins (onboard hydrophone). They also take photos using telephoto lenses they provide free of charge so you can concentrate on looking

Nice experience - Lovely experience, with a slightly higher price tag than their competitors but it is worth it. The tour is led by a marine biologist, Viktor. He was very informative, accommodating and attentive. Thank you Victor! There are some eco conscious and organic snacks on board. I did feel quite sea sick with the motion when we stopped, which doesn't tend to happen to me, so I would recommend motion sickness tablets. We saw some bottle nose dolphins and pilot whales from a distance, which I have seen before in other countries. I was hoping to see more and for the animals to choose to come closer, which of course, the tour guides cannot dictate and I do agree with their distance to give the animals space. So overall 4/5.
